Pros IT WORKS!!! I was 12 years old when I first used it; now I'm 66 and still use it from time to time. It is hard to fine. I used to have the drugstore order it for me, now I find it on Ebay! YEAH !!
Cons It only comes in a small tube.
Bottom line This stuff works well for zits, stopped up oil glands and most other skin problems. They talk about a bad odor, you don't eat it!

Pros I love this stuff! I am 36, had a hysterectomy and thyroidectomy. Needless to say my hormones are jacked and so was my face, until I started using this! Completely worth the smell! The color is actually not bad for me and when I put it on it evens out my skin tone and I go to bed. I would not use it in the day just for fear someone would smell it! It sort of reminds of the Proactiv mask but amped up X 1000. Oh and I got it at dollar general! LOL
Cons The smell. It smells like sulfur so you know it stinks.
Bottom line The smell is completely worth it. It is sort of like a mask in how quickly it works. I use it at night and have a wonderful microdermabrasion cloth that I wash with in the morning. So basically, it dries everything up, to be fair it makes the skin a little dull looking I guess from the dry skin, but the cloth takes care of that and finally I am not the old crone with gray hair and pimples! Buy it! Try it! Worth the smell. Without a doubt worth the smell. I have used about everything on the market and was considering a home microdermabrasion unit. Seriously. Now, I don't need it. At least not for acne. Now I am worrying about these pesky crows feet!

Pros This stuff works awesome! I use it at night and wash in the morning mostly because I put it on thick, prob don't have to, but makes me feel better! I've used it for years and hope its never discontinued! Just a weird tidbit, it helps with the onset of herpes sores.
Cons Can't think of any...
Bottom line I've loved this product for years!

Pros Used acnomel cake when I was a teenager in the 70's. I really wish I could still find it. It was the only thing that worked. Now my teenage daughter could use it but I can't find it anywhere.
Cons none
Bottom line they need to bring back the acnomel cake!!

Pros I am 40, always had hormonal acne. I tried DDF sulfur mask which worked well but wanted something with sulfur for day time use and found this. I can wear this under my mkup. first day I didnt moisturize and it was very drying. now I use very little on problem area and put moisturizer on top, some concealer on my scars only and I look great. I also use it in combination with another item Scarzone for Acne at night with plenty of moisturizer. I rather have slightly oily than dry skin.
Cons none as I am not bothered by the smell
Bottom line Definetly worth it. I was thinking I will try one of those expensive lines but glad I found this. I have accepted that I will keep getting acne forever but atleast with this I can make them go away fast and stop them from becoming major scars.

Pros - Dries up papules/zits
- Reduces redness of acne, including the ones I've already picked at
- Doesn't irritate my skin as much as benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid
Cons - The sulfur smell
- Product dries quick but cracks and flakes off, so not ideal for daytime wear
- Tinted version is too dark for me
Bottom line I've found it's best to use this as a spot cream overnight. It dries up my zits quickly, especially if I use it on top of other topical creams (I'm on Differin right now). On its own Acnomel is ok.

Pros Cheap, colour matched my skin, didn't dry it out, gave me a great skin tone
Cons Didn't work that well
Bottom line I started using this after I stopped using benzoyl peroxide which I had been using for 4 years (which never really worked that well). Acnomel seemed to get rid of my breakouts at first and I was enjoying my hydrated and more even skin tone compared to when I was using BP, so I had high hopes. But... it never ended up really working. I continued to have moderate breakouts the same as when I was on BP. So I quit.

Pros It works!!!!! I have had acne since I was 10, and I've tried EVERYTHING- BP, salacylic acid- I was allergic to, triclosan- which made me itch, doxycycline--stomach couldn't tolerate and countless others, none of whom worked as well as using this
Cons i'm black, so the "tinted" cream isn't dark enough and doesn't blend well with my skin tone. i can only wear it at night.
Bottom line it is an effective (finally!), readily available acne treatment on persons who have moderate/ severe acne that nothing else will cure. i do still use benzoyl peroxide and a mild cleanser. if you are having problems with dryness, i suggest a mild cleanser and toner with glycerin/ without alcohol to help the skin replenish and retain moisture. Olive oil is also a good moisturizer that i use when my skin became a little splotchy.

Pros - Drys up skin
- Provides immediate cover
- Works fast to get rid of major acne
Cons - May cause flaky, overly dry skin
- May look like you're wearing makeup if to heavily put on
Bottom line It works well in a short period of time, but it may not provide long term results. It covers up red acne, to increase confidence, and can get rid of it overnight. For me personally it worked really great, but then I began to rely to heavily on it and it started drying up my skin too much. Causing my skin to be extremely flaky, dry, and noticeable. I still use it, as I feel flaky skin, which i can later moisturize is better than acne covered skin.
