This is the best OTC product available for acne! I have tried everything under the sun for my skin and the only thing that has worked is AcneFree. I started to see a difference after just a couple of days, and after about 2 weeks my skin is completely clear. For those of you who get dry skin from it, use a moisturizer after the Repair Lotion. I recommend this product to anyone suffering from acne.

You get what you pay for. If you're using proactiv and its working but hate the price, DONT switch to this! Its a lot lower quality and you wont like it. The cleanser is runny, the toner is drying and the lotion is heavy. Im surprised the toner is mostly alcohol. It might be nice if you have oily skin. I have normal skin oil-wise, but my breakouts are hormonal, and not due to oily skin.
I can see this product being nice if you're new to an acne treatment system, or if proactiv didnt work for you (hey, everyone's skin chemistry is a little different). But if you want to switch from proactiv just for the price, this is not the same thing. It didnt clear my skin as fast or feel as nice as proactiv does.

I saw this product in a friend's bathroom and, having noticed his face looked remarkably clearer since the last time I saw him, decided to hunt it down for myself. I found the three-part kit at CVS for $20, including a free blackhead and blemish zapper. I think I have pretty moderate acne- it's not painful or scarring acne, but I do have some breakouts and rosacea on my cheeks. I'm in my 20s and it's something I've been "dealing with" for a few years, now. I've tried Proactiv and all the other drugstore/natural remedies, and none of them have really worked. I refuse to go on medication because I don't want the long-term damage to the rest of my body just so I don't have to worry about putting on foundation in the mornings! Anyway, AcneFree has worked pretty well over the past two months I've been using it. The smells are pretty nice- nothing too harsh. The cleanser doesn't really foam up or anything, but it does the job. I skip the toner every other day because when I used it twice a day it dried out the areas around my mouth and left the skin white and crusty. Ick! The lotion seems to be different from package to package, depending on where you buy your set. This one smells different and doesn't quite smooth into the skin- I'm getting chalky residue if I use too much, but it goes away on its own after a few seconds. The blemish/blackhead stuff smells awful, stings, and doesn't do any good. I don't recommend it. The cleanser, toner, and lotion have been the best thing for my acne. It hasn't completely gotten rid of it, and I don't understand why ANYONE with ONE ZIT would USE AN ACNE PRODUCT, so please read these reviews with a grain of salt and don't expect miracles from $20! I will say, ladies, that it makes putting on concealer and make-up a heck of a lot easier (use moisturizer first! Clean and Clear's Morning Glow has worked best for me!)- my skin is absolutely flawless with make-up now, and it's been years since I've achieved this! Also, my zits pop up one at a time instead of in clusters. AcneFree makes it easier to control the break-outs from week to week (monthly cycle). I do recommend giving it a try!

This product really works! I don't think my skin has ever looked so clear, healthy and smooth before. It is so hard to find the right kind of solution in stores today...there are so many to choose from. It is great to have an effective and affordable product that really works. I recommend this product to all of my friends.

I am 33 years old and have had mild acne since I was 12 years old. Some breakouts are worse than others. I am also blessed with very sensitive skin. I have discovered that I have an allergy to sunscreen and products with salisylic acid burn my skin causing swelling and blisters all over. I tried AcneFree and love it. At first it dried my skin out, so I cut back to only morning use, with occasional lotion use (too much and greasy feel). I can't remember my skin ever being so clear. My family has even commented on it. I just wish it was sold seperately. I have seen seperately online, but costs more with shipping, than buying whole system. All in all a great product.

My skin was absolutely horrible, with deep zits, blackheads, whiteheads, and tons of scarring and red marks everywhere. I'm using the zit terminator on any "active" zits, the scar-erasing kit with 2 steps, and the purifying cleanser. the cleanser is the best part!! The first couple of days I didn't notice much improvement and was disappointed, but with persistence, suddenly my skin is totally changing. I wish I could buy this stuff in BULK!

2 weeks ago i had mild acne all over my face. Now it is clearing up like a charm. Since after the first straight week of using this product, I have only had 2 or 3 pimples pop up, the rest of the red spots and pimples are dying off. But remember when putting this stuff on, be very gentle and don't pick your face, I personally have realized that those things are MAJOR factors in the healing speed of acne.

I had been buying Proactiv for a while and it worked like a miracle! Then I heard about Acne Free, and how it is more affordable and works better than Proactiv. I bought this product thinking it would clear up my skin. WRONG! It dried my face out and my face worsened, and I ended up with more acne than before! I do not recommend this produt. It does not work and I am switching back to Proactiv!
