Sad Story but Now AcneFree Me from New York
November 11, 2007
Bottom line I unfortunately have a line of acne on both cheeks that starts on my forehead and goes to the middle of my cheeks and of course the occasional pimples everywhere. I used to put my hair over my cheeks which hid the acne. I used everything you could think of...clean and clear, nutreugena, and many more products. Nothing worked. One day I saw Acnefree and I was thinking I should give it a chance. The next day I only had a few spots of acne and also the next day too. When it came to Monday I jumped out of bed getting ready for school and to my suprise I had the most clearest skin I could ever have! I almost cried because I have been trying to long to get rid of it. If you're having troubles with acne choose this product! Thank You So Much AcneFree! You've changed my life.

Pros Overall reduction of large pimples. Definitely prevents new areas of acne from developing. Leaves my skin feeling and looking clean.
Cons Does not work within two weeks like the box says. Still have acne after two and a half months. Some days, I'll wake up and my acne will be almost gone. The next day, it's back! The bottles crack.
Bottom line Has reduced the severity of my acne, but has not cleared my skin or reduced the size of my pores. I probably would not buy it again, but I'm still going to keep using it until it runs out because I think it may work!

Pros used to have a lot of zits now its all gone; leftover scars from old zits prior to use
Cons after a year of use i find it burns my face if i use a lot. face may burn a little if in sun
Bottom line use it if u think ur acne problem is hopeless ull be surprised. zits will re-appear if u stop use which makes me wonder if theres something illegal in this magic zit cream lol

Pros NOTHING
Cons EVERYTHING
Bottom line This stuff is pure CRAP.

Its made my face 100 times worse, it's dried my face out, and irratated it to the higest level, my face stings constantly and itches, i've tried putting vitamin enriched lotion on my face to help it, but that doesnt work, it stings so bad, it feels worse than putting salt into an open wound, and I havent used this stuff in a couple days and my face still hurts and is bright red all over.
It is not worth your money.
The repair lotion doesnt repair it hurts, the toner is crap and the cleanser smells bad...so does the toner.

It has made my small pimples into SCARS, no I havent popped them or anything it literally turned my small pimples into BRIGHT RED SCARS.

Pros fairly inexpensive when bought at costco.
Cons who knows if it will work.
Bottom line so i've decided to try this out. and so far. nothing. at least my skin hasn't gotten worse though. ill give it a few more weeks. plus. im not quite sure if the purifying cleanser is supposed to be the consistency that it is. it feels like im just putting watered down glue on my face. but who knows.

Pros None
Cons Makes your face worse
Bottom line I tried it and it completly broke out my face. Made it worse then ever. After 2 months acne is still persistent and now my face is scared. I consistently break out and most of the time i will get painful deep pimples. I hate this and was hoping it would work.

Pros very affordable, works fast.
Cons no info about risks during pregnancy on label.
Bottom line This is my third day using this product since I was 15. I don't remember what the results were at that time, but I probably didn't use it consistently. This time, I just picked it up from KMart, and I could notice a difference in my complexion overnight! I've struggled with moderate acne since middle school, but since I've been pregnant it's gotten a lot worse. I've had to do a lot of research about dangers from this product to my baby, but from what I can tell, it is safe because it's mostly benzoyl peroxide (I skip the spot treatment because it is salicylic acid). Anyway, every morning my face looks better and better. My acne is clearing up and the scars and zits I've had are less red and noticeable. My husband can see the difference tooI can't wait to show my family how clear my skin is when the holidays come; I think they will be surprised. It's so neat to feel prettier and more confident everyday as my skin gets better.

Pros Easy to apply, Doesn't dry out my skin considerably, Great price, Doesn't have a strong unpleasant smell, Leaves face feeling refreshed, Not as harsh as ProActiv
Cons Bottles bought at drug and department stores are smaller and more expensive and usually the formula is a different consistency than bottles bought at wholesale stores (sams club/costco), After using it for awhile it doesn't seem to work as well
Bottom line It's worth trying. I've tried everything under the sun for my severe cystic acne, and this was the most inexpensive and efficent formula I tried. I tried ProActiv before but it left my skin red and flaky. The only downside is that over time I've noticed that it doesn't work as well, it doesn't prevent acne as well as it used to, but it makes it clear up faster. I was on an low dose oral contraceptive for awhile for my skin, and it seemed that the combination of the AcneFree and birth control worked best for me.

Pros none really
Cons too overdrying, doesn't exfoliate my skin enough
Bottom line Bought this b/c it was one of the few products who still use benzoyl-peroxide, but it didn't help at all, and I've been waiting for more than a month now, although I've been only using the first step
