I've been using acne free for months, and have seen few results, BUT I'm going to keep using it because I think it helps a little. I know a lot of people don't like the renewing toner, but I LOVE IT! It makes my skin feel cool and fresh(look on the cotton sometime when you put it on, and you see it seems to take off some dirt the cleanser missed)I don't care what it smells like as long as it works. I do agree that it does seem to dry out my face, SOMETIMES! Other days it's just fine, I guess I just have a sensative face. The price is great(even compared to wal-mart brand acne stuff), although I wouldn't mind it being lowered a bit, you know?:) Anyways, I'm going to stick with you AcneFree atleast for awhile, hope I'm not disappointed...

Buy it at Costco. Works very well but don't expect it to cure cystic acne. If you are in your 30's or 40's use it in conjunction with birth control pills to really tackle adult acne in your chin area.

Been using this product for 1 year. My skin looks better that it ever did before, now i just have these acne scars (pocks) on my cheeks that I hate so much. AcneFree just came out with a new product called "Scar Fade & Erase", it's suppose to erase red and brown marks and levels out the pock marks from the skin's surface. Just bought one last night and used it, it had a weird smell but I can feel it working. The box says I will see results in just 2 weeks. I'll let ya'll know in 2 weeks then. Please let me know if anyone else has tried this produc on their pock scars. thanks!

The cleaner is pretty rubbish but the BP lotion is really nice.
It doesnt irritate at all and it works better than on-the-spot bp gel.

My face hurt so bad after using it for like a month, it burned when i slept and also when i put on makeup. It also made my skin red and itchy. At first it works fine but then it just gets worse. Do not use this product.

My parents bought me AcneFree because it was cheaper than buying Proactiv for me every month...well, I just don't know what I think of Acnefree--it works, but not as well as proactiv and I think proactiv is definetly worth the price--however, I'm having a hard time convincing my parents to let me go back to Proactiv. AcneFree claims to have the same ingredients as Proactiv, but that is obviously not true, otherwise each step would give me the same results as Proactiv has in the past--and I'm breaking out worse now than I have ever broken out in the past. I just don't know what to do, perhaps I'll vow to use Proactiv for 2 months and use it more sparingly because the results are just so much nicer I feel.

Like another comment I read, I ordered Proactiv three times thinking I just hadn't given it enough time to work. There were absolutely no results at all after almost 6 months. I bought Acne Free because it was less expensive and was more readily available. It's been several weeks and so far I've seen no results again. The cleanser and toner are okay, but the lotion is very gritty and leaves a white film on my face. The lotion from the Proactiv was very smooth and absorbed well. Overall, I've found no benefits from either of the two. I think I've given up on the "system" type of products.

This is my second day using AcneFree so I can't yet comment on it, but am pretty enthusiastic about it reading everyone else's reviews. All I have to say is give it patience; you CANNOT judge a product after 2-3 nights. So far my skin is red/burning/dry a bit but thats also because I just got off regular Stievamycin. I feel it working so far so I just have to wait a few weeks, hopefully in time for prom :) My major problem are alot of my acne scars so something scar-fading is next on my list.

I just began using AcneFree 5 days ago. The first night I used it, I woke up to clear, even skin. I was AMAZED. I continued to use it but yesterday I developed a HUGE zit on my chin. HUGE! I really really hope that this is just the product "drawing out" the gross stuff under my skin. I have tried too many things and been dissapointed too many times, so this has to work for me!! More bad news, my skin is also very dry and my face hurts! This isn't looking good but I will cut down to using it only in the morning, and hopefully my face won't be as dry and my acne will go away!

i've been using acne free for less than a week, and i already notice a difference. (i've used it before, but i kept stopping, so this time i'm trying to be consistant).

my cheeks have been broken out recently. i think i used a not-so-great blush (and i never use blush) a couple of weeks ago, and my enlarged pores in that area just can't seem to recover. acne free hasn't gotten rid of them, but it has definitely shrunk their size, so now i have some small red marks, which is a ton better than the huge, pus zits that were there... and they are easily covered with some foundation.

you don't really 'need' step 2- toner. if you look, there are no active ingredients in it (no BP), but it's a part of the system, so i use it..and sometimes some make-up comes off on the cotton ball.

that's another thing... i wouldn't use acne free to get rid of make-up or whatever else is on your face. i use a gentle neutrogena facewash before just to get excess gunk off. and moisturizing (i use pond's) is def. important since there's BP involved, but it's a tiny amount so if you're not super sensitive, you should be ok.
