| Pros | Flattened bumps, but did not get rid of them, they stayed red. Thats probably the only somewhat positive effect it had. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Gave me rash all over, burned my skin constantly and made it really dry. |
| Bottom line | Terrible, waste of money, dont use it. |

| Pros | Cleared up skin very quickly |
|---|---|
| Cons | -It dried out my skin so much it flaked -It bleached all my towels -It started burning after a couple of weeks -Too harsh for sensitive skin |
| Bottom line | After I stopped using it, my skin couldn't really absorb moisturizer very well so it took about three weeks to recover. I use more natural remedies along with my cleanser and moisturizer and my skin is taking to it much better. Plus it was so expensive. |

| Pros | Clears skin fairly fast and keeps on working.(I've used it for years and it has not stopped working after 3 months like Proactiv did.) It is literally the ONLY thing that has for the most part cleared my acne. (I have had moderate that progressed to severe acne since I was 14, and am now in my 20's.) The Benzoyl Peroxide Lotion and Retinol last for quite some time. |
|---|---|
| Cons | It is a shame they don't sell the Cleanser and Toner separately as those are the items I run out of first, and I end up having to buy the whole package when I only need two things immediately. |
| Bottom line | After using perscription creams (Differin, Retin A, Benzaclin, Clindamycin, etc.), oral acne medications such as Doxycycline, every cleanser, toner and acne fighting cream brand from Neutrogena to Noxema...this is the ONLY thing that has worked. My acne will probably never completely go away as I have been dealing with it for 7 years and it has never been completely cured for any extended amount of time, but this product keeps it at bay. And every side product they have come out with from the foaming cleanser to the 1 hour pimple patches has lived up to its' promises. |

| Pros | clears acne up for a little bit |
|---|---|
| Cons | stops working after 2 or 3 months |
| Bottom line | I was so happy when this first started working for me, I had no new pimples. But after two or three months they started happening again and now my acne is worse than ever. Its the same thing as proactiv with more benzoyl peroxide in it and is cheaper |

| Cons | Not cheaper than anything when you have to buy new sheets and towels!! |
|---|---|
| Bottom line | This stuff has so much Benzol Peroxide in it that it completely ruined my colored towels and sheets on the bed (bleached spots on them). Both the cleanser (which you obviously wash off of your face) and the lotion have this. So towels in morning and sheets at night...all ruined!! Not cool! |

| Pros | Works AMAZINGLY. Noticably cleared my skin in one day. Inexpensive for a complete kit. Easy to use |
|---|---|
| Cons | Dries out your skin a bit...if you use the moisturizer you should be fine though. |
| Bottom line | Being a teenager, I've had bad acne before. I get blackheads and oil pockets, which NEVER seem to go away, and to top it off, I pick at them, which leaves scars. We went to Target and as soon as I got home I tried it out. The next morning, my skin was smooth and some of my forehead acne had been removed completely. I kept using it and ALL my acne, and scars, are gone! This product is amazing...highly recommend it. |

| Pros | Did clear my acne for the most part. Especially the deep cystic acne bumps that had been there for months. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Dried my skin out severely! My whole face is covered in flakes that won't go away even while moisturizing several times a day! Also created a burning red rash after each use, but that went away in a few hours |
| Bottom line | I bought the severe version of this system because I tried the regular version a few years ago which didn't work for me. My acne is mostly on the sides of my face and jaw line. It's a mix of cystic acne and a few white heads here and there. At first, the system worked well at clearing the bumps deep below the top layer of skin. I noticed some drying under my chin, but didn't pay much attention to it. There was some burning and redness after each use, but it usually went away in about an hour or two. After about 2 weeks of use, the dry patch under my chin started spreading to other ares of my face and by week three my whole face was covered in dry flakes. So i decided to cut back and use only once a day and add a moisturizer. This didn't help. My skin was still very dry. I stopped using the system hoping that my skin would go back to normal. I also started moisturizing several times throughout the day. A few days later and my skin is still extremely dry. I've never had dry skin this severe and I can't even apply makeup because it won't go on smoothly over the flakiness. The severe system is extremely powerful and really messes with the chemical balance of your skin. I don't recommend it unless you would rather have a dry rash over your whole face instead of acne. Either way, both are embarrassing. |

| Pros | Cheaper than Proactive |
|---|---|
| Cons | Made my skin burning, dry, red, and bumpy. Didn't work. Annoying 3 step application. |
| Bottom line | The cleanser in particular is very grainy and irritated my moderately sensitive skin. It also didn't take care of my acne. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have super tough and oily skin. |
