Pros: seems like it is actually clearing up my acne! Its been two weeks and the first week was bad, but its improved alot! The best my face has been in about a year! Cons: The lotion is very thick. This depends if you like that or not, I don't mind it. Others might. Can be drying. I just use tons of my Neutrogena oil-free moisturizer. Bottom Line: I use the Severe system from AcneFree because my acne was nearing Severe .But its improving, which is the best Ive found a product do! Definitely try this! Pros: Moisturizing lotion Doesn't irritate my skin Cons: Toner has alcohol Cleanser not very exfoliating Bottom Line: I was a devoted Proactiv user for years but it was expensive and not very flexible-buying things seperately cost a fortune, and getting the kit wasn't an option b/c I didn't like the toner. I bought AcneFree on a whim a couple weeks ago at CVS and I really like it. The Repair Lotion has a thicker consistency than Proactiv's and I can actually use it as my primary face lotion. There's very little fragrance and I don't mind the toner. I was surprised at the quality of ingredients considering the low price.There's organic aloe vera and a high degree of benzoyl peroxide. My face has already started clearing up and I'm very satisfied. I've tried other over the counter acne kits (Klear Action, Skin Essentials) and neither of them are as good. Pros: It cleared up my skin within 3 days. Previous acne scars that I had faded away too. makes skin smooth and clear. Cons: At first my skin dried up for the first 2 weeks or so, but i applied CeraVe moisturizer right after the acnefree products and that helped prevent dry and peeling skin on my face. Bottom Line: My skin dried up at first for about 2 weeks, but in the end it definitely cleared up my skin. I hardly if ever break out and when I do acnefree helps clear up the acne within a day or 2. I've been using it for 10 months now and my acne has cleared up all the way. Recommended: Yes Usage: Mary has used this item for about a year. Pros: It's cleared about 50% of my acne. Cons: The lotion makes my skin a little dry, but that goes away over the day. Spot treatement kind of works, but my other spot treatement works a lot better. Bottom Line: This stuff has cleared up plenty. I don't use step 1 just step 2 and 3. They haven't been hurting my face much at all. Recommended: Yes Usage: Liesl has used this item for about a week. Pros: really soft and it actually prevented me from breaking out! Cons: It made my skin a little rough after a while. Bottom Line: It works pretty well. They didn't really say any of that "works in one day on 100% of people" like clean and clear. it is wasy better than clean and clear and i wish they had some last time i went looking for it in walmart. Pros: Use this if you have really oily skin, cleared my skin up in less than a month. CONSISTENCY IS A MUST. Did the whole routine once in the morning and once at night before bed. Cons: once your skin starts to clear up completely, if you keep using it twice a day, your skin becomes somewhat immune to the product. so when your acne has subsided, you only need to use acnefree once a day, preferably before bed. Bottom Line: I've tried pretty much every over the counter acne treatment, including the oh so popular Pro active which did absolutely NOTHING to get rid of my acne, $60 down the drain with that crap. again, I recommend this product for people who have oily skin. For those who have average skin (not oily but not too dry) you may find this product to dry out your face if used excessively. Pros: I clearned my pimples right away! the first night. i was surprised on how smooth my skin felt. Cons: AFTER 3 days! my skin felt so rough! and thought it was change of weather. BUT i read these reviews and NOW i understand. aghh my skin hurts. Bottom Line: It def helps the acne but beauty hurts. Recommended: No Usage: Amber has used this item for about a week. Pros: Definitely clears the skin; oil-control Cons: Constant irritation, definitely dries the skin out; my face itched like crazy the first few nights (I had to take an allergy pill and go to sleep because I couldn't concentrate on anything else) Bottom Line: My acne problem was getting worse and worse and I couldn't get a dermatology appointment for another month, so I decided to give AcneFree a try. The product definitely works--the severity of my acne has cleared up about 80% in less than a week. However, I feel irritation/itchiness when I use it, and I can see some acne might be coming back. The directions must be strictly adhered to. If you have moderate to severe acne, and experience extreme redness/irritation while first using the product, KEEP USING IT, because it will clear up (but not without the suffering). Pros: Works fast, doesn't smell Cons: dried out my skin and changed the texture of it; spot treatment doesn't work that well Bottom Line: This stuff works! The price is just a bonus. I broke out from hormonal changes and stress, and, after one use, I saw results. After three days, I didn't have to use it anymore! The aweful part is that the texture of my skin changed (everywhere but my forehead). It became really dry and felt weird to the touch. After I stopped using the product, it didn't go back to normal, so it could have been the hormones that changed my skin. Either way, it's a great product! I still use the actual moisturizer as a spot treatment; works better than the spot treatment gel. Recommended: Yes Usage: stresser has used this item for about a week.
