I'm 41 and have always had acne problems, but this is the first product that actually worked.
At first it did dry out my skin a little so I just cut back to using the product every morning for a couple weeks.
I think your skin has to get use to it. I am now using it twice a day and my skin is soft ,clear and amazing.
The trick is I think,is to find what works for you.
I'm reading alot of reviews where people are saying AcneFree is drying out their skin....Try cutting back. Don't keep on using it as much when this happens.
I have been consistant with AcneFree since I started 2 months ago,I think that helps as well.
GIVE IT A TRY!!!!!

I started using this product about two weeks ago. I was freaking out because i started breaking out very badly and nothing I used worked. I was getting very frustrated and grossed out, so I decided to try AcneFree. It took a few days but my face is not greasy at all anymore and my skin is really starting to clear up. Since it is winter it does dry out my skin a little, but I only use it once a day instead. I am so excited that I finally found something that helps my skin and I don't have to be embarrased to go out in public anymore.

I've been using this product for about 3 months now and have noticed a huge improvement in my skin, both in the number of breakouts and in my skin tone in general. I've had acne for years and it has left red marks, but this product has helped those fade immensely. It can dry out my skin, especially now that it's winter, but I've found that if I just use a good moisturizer after the last step, my skin is beautiful, soft and glowing. I can't praise this enough and I like that it is more affordable than Proactiv. Note though that I am using this in combination with a prescribed oral treatment from my dermatologist. For those of who whose skin it irritates, that's just the Benzoyl Peroxide, not really the product itself (and it does warn you about this and says that if this occurs, see a dermatologist). You may have sensitive skin or it just may not work for you. And if it caused breakouts and worse skin, I'd say you definitely have skin that is too sensitive for these kinds of products. If it doesn't work, I highly suggest seeing a doctor who can treat you for more severe and persistent acne. Overall, I think its a great cleansing system that removes buildup and exfoliates for beautiful skin. I use it in combination with my oral acne medication because its still really important to have a good routine with a good system.

I have been using AcneFree for about two weeks now. So far I love it. It does dry out my skin, however so has anything else I've tried. I didn't have a huge acne problem to begin with but my face now has completely cleared up. I think it just depends on the individual as others have said. I saw that it was compared to Proactive and thought it was worth a try. Luckily for me, it is what I have been needing for a while. I guess with things like this you have to try for yourself because everyone is going to have different results.

I tried this kit after CVS stopped making Clear Zone. It's not a very good substitute: the kit dried my skin out horribly in the first two days. I think the alcohol in the toner was far too harsh. (I'm over 40, so that's not a surprise, but I also know a 12-year-old who tried this stuff and had the same problem!) I now use only the wash in the morning in the shower, and it seems to work fine, though I don't like the medicinal smell. I didn't think the wash was very effective in the evening, to remove makeup. I prefer the new St. Ives apricot salicylic acid scrub for that; it's gentle and cleanses well.

i love this. it took about a week to notice great results, but its worth it. i have sensitive skin but this didn't bother me at all. it did make my skin a little tight, but i bought the scar treatment and that comes with a moisteriser. it works great, i definately reccomend it.

I've had acne problems for over twelve years now, and I've tried a lot of products (including prescriptions). This works quite well for me, but you have to find a routine that works with your skin. Everyone is different! I use Clearasil daily face wash followed by the repair lotion (all over face) at night, and Clearasil daily face wash followed by Cetaphil SPF 15 lotion in the morning before putting my makeup on. If I have a blemish, I just dot a little of the repair lotion on it after moisturizing. It does make my skin a little dry, so I just mix my foundation 1/2 and 1/2 with more Cetaphil lotion and that fixes the problem. My skin used to be quite oily by mid-day, and now I don't ever have shine problems...which is quite a nice change! I still get pimples occasionally, but they are smaller and go away faster than they used to. This is a lot less harsh than the Differin prescription I used to use, and works better than most over-the-counter meds. I'd recommend it to anyone who needs help with their skin problems.

I have never really had acne until i started High School a few months ago, but i was absolutely devestaded when it got worse and worse and nothing was working. I considered ProActive, but i didnt want to wait for it, plus the price isnt the most desirable. So i decided to use AcneFree first. I was amazed, after just three nights i had practically clear skin, and my face was REALLY smooth, even when i dodnt have any problems it wasnt as smooth as it is now. Plus it makes you look a lot more radiant, gowing, and healthier. I highly recommend AcneFree.
