Good stuff. Continues to work for me after several months. A moisturizer is necessary for dry spots.

I've found this product to be far more effective than anything I've ever used — even its inspiration, Proactiv.

I just started using this product last week. I am 41 and have had adult breakouts for a while now. The first few days my skin was just dry and kind of itchy in places. I started using my old moisturizer with this product and my skin is no longer irritated. The old acne red blotches seem to be clearing up as well. So far, so good! My skin feels good and smooth!

This product did work very well for me, it got rid of alot of my acne in just two days. the only problem is that my face got dry and it itched and burned so i had to stop using it. i think i should start with once a day and moisturize my skin, but other than that this product is great!

I started using this product about two weeks ago. I was freaking out because i started breaking out very badly and nothing I used worked. I was getting very frustrated and grossed out, so I decided to try AcneFree. It took a few days but my face is not greasy at all anymore and my skin is really starting to clear up. Since it is winter it does dry out my skin a little, but I only use it once a day instead. I am so excited that I finally found something that helps my skin and I don't have to be embarrased to go out in public anymore.

I've been using this product for about 3 months now and have noticed a huge improvement in my skin, both in the number of breakouts and in my skin tone in general. I've had acne for years and it has left red marks, but this product has helped those fade immensely. It can dry out my skin, especially now that it's winter, but I've found that if I just use a good moisturizer after the last step, my skin is beautiful, soft and glowing. I can't praise this enough and I like that it is more affordable than Proactiv. Note though that I am using this in combination with a prescribed oral treatment from my dermatologist. For those of who whose skin it irritates, that's just the Benzoyl Peroxide, not really the product itself (and it does warn you about this and says that if this occurs, see a dermatologist). You may have sensitive skin or it just may not work for you. And if it caused breakouts and worse skin, I'd say you definitely have skin that is too sensitive for these kinds of products. If it doesn't work, I highly suggest seeing a doctor who can treat you for more severe and persistent acne. Overall, I think its a great cleansing system that removes buildup and exfoliates for beautiful skin. I use it in combination with my oral acne medication because its still really important to have a good routine with a good system.

I have been using AcneFree for about two weeks now. So far I love it. It does dry out my skin, however so has anything else I've tried. I didn't have a huge acne problem to begin with but my face now has completely cleared up. I think it just depends on the individual as others have said. I saw that it was compared to Proactive and thought it was worth a try. Luckily for me, it is what I have been needing for a while. I guess with things like this you have to try for yourself because everyone is going to have different results.

I tried this kit after CVS stopped making Clear Zone. It's not a very good substitute: the kit dried my skin out horribly in the first two days. I think the alcohol in the toner was far too harsh. (I'm over 40, so that's not a surprise, but I also know a 12-year-old who tried this stuff and had the same problem!) I now use only the wash in the morning in the shower, and it seems to work fine, though I don't like the medicinal smell. I didn't think the wash was very effective in the evening, to remove makeup. I prefer the new St. Ives apricot salicylic acid scrub for that; it's gentle and cleanses well.
