| Pros | Price was inexpensive; paid 21.99 |
|---|---|
| Cons | Severe allergic reaction |
| Bottom line | Do not like this product. Used first evening and next morning. Face became extremely red, itchy, splotchy red patches, tingly, swollen cheeks just under soft eye pads and eyes swelled almost shut (from histamine response, as I did not use it on my eyes.) Never had any reactions to benzoyl perioxide before. Had to take benadryl which helped. Just glad I didn't have to go to hospital for shot of epinephrine. |

| Pros | Sadly, none. |

| Cons | I hate giving negative reviews, but I feel as though I need to say something about this... |
| Bottom line | I have hormonal acne and I break out monthly when I start PMSing. I woke up three days ago to a new breakout on my right cheek near my mouth and resorted to AcneFree to help dry it out (my mom had purchased the product a couple months back but it hadn't ever been used). I used it for two days and I noticed my break-out had slightly worsened and my skin was quite red, and I woke up this morning to find that my entire chin area and forehead had broken out in a huge, inflamed RASH. I immediately threw the system in the trash and returned to my normal skin-care routine (consisting of only organic products). I applied Extra Virgin Olive Oil to my entire face and it immediately helped with inflammation and my rash is now 50% gone. Congratulations to all who had success with this product...but for those with sensitive skin like me, I highly recommend you consider using this product. |

| Pros | *did help clear my some acne pretty good *lotion helped overnight *BP effective |
|---|---|
| Cons | *not sure about the toner, didnt notice any change because of it *dries out skin pretty bad and causes alot of redness *wierd smell *a little overpriced |
| Bottom line | well honestly i feel like if you use the three step process correctly it will help your acne but there's a price to pay and thats very red and dry skin, none the less it really helps acne, I would recommend only at night and little application the first few days so your skin can adapt to the harsh chemicals |

| Pros | -got rid of my acne COMMPLETELY -worked after just 1 day -reduces redness -gets rid of some black heads -gets rid of oily skin -got rid of my acne scars |
|---|---|
| Cons | -it makes your skin REALLY dry |
| Bottom line | It worked amazingly, however if you do use it, i reccomend using moisturizer on your skin as well because it dries out your skin really badly. however, it was great at getting rid of acne and preventing it. |

| Pros | -helps dry out acne -cheaper than proactive -can buy it in stores |
|---|---|
| Cons | -dries too much; moisturizer barely helps -too harsh -didn't completely solve the problem |
| Bottom line | This product helped for a while, and then I began to develop cystic acne, which I hadn't had before. It kept my acne under control than just a basic unmedicated cleanser, but overall was too harsh, drying, and didn't do the job well enough even though I used it for a year for lack of anything better! |

| Pros | Reduced blackheads? |
|---|---|
| Cons | Made my skin feel weird--probably dry |
| Bottom line | I got this at Costco, thinking why not. I should say that I've only used it 3 times, but those 3 times were enough for me to not want to use it anymore. I have fair skin, so I did one application, at night. Things were okay. No acne reduction (I had 2 cysts calming down and another just starting to flare), but maybe some blackhead reduction. I thought that maybe I could up the doseage to twice a day, as is recommended. I used it the next morning and evening, and noticed that the texture of my skin felt different. Before, the spots on my face that didn't have acne felt like the rest of me. Now it felt rough. And my cheeks were...shall we say, "rosy," which had never happened before (I don't really have sensitive skin). I've been off it a couple days now, but my skin still doesn't feel normal. This might work best on people who have acne all over your face, instead of in just one area. It didn't do much for me. |

| Pros | cleared up my acne!!! |
|---|---|
| Cons | made my face really dry in the beginning but that is all gone now! |
| Bottom line | I have just been using the facial wash in this kit and the AcneFree terminator and pretty much all my acne is gone in three weeks! For me this a miracle! My face was horrible all summer but now I have smooth clear skin for college! I love my skin now and I can be around my boyfriend without make-up on and that's a great feeling! Try this! It worked for me :) |

| Pros | cheaper than Pro Activ doesn't bleach out faceclothes like Pro Activ |
|---|---|
| Cons | Can't find it in Canada slow results |
| Bottom line | I was a die-hard Pro Activ user for years then it stopped working. I never had acne as a teen, my acne started when I approached 30! Here I am creeping up on 40 and dealing with acne - ug! Bought this while visiting the U.S. once and noticed an improvement, but had to stop using it because I can't find it here. Going to the U.S. next week and hope to stock up. My son who is 11 is struggling with pretty severe acne already, tried Cetaphyl but no luck. I think I might get him to try this product. Anyone know if it is ok for kids his age? |
