Pros: The AcneFree product worked very well on my back and cleared up my acne and made my pores smaller and not so oily.. But sadly it reactions on my face say otherwise! :( Use on back not face! Cons: This product burns the face, especially around the eyes.. It is making my whole face discolored and i looks like this product is giving me an allergic reaction! :( Bottom Line: Please..i wouldnt take the risk! I would so much rather have had the acne on my face them looking like my whole face is swollen! If you plan to use this product for your back or body.. i would recommend it.. but for the face, i wouldnt! The first day the product didnt really do much.. but by the second day it started burning and i thought it would go away.. then the third day my whole face feels like its on fire and is swollen and red :( I really think it is worth the few extra bucks to get proactive.. Pros: None! Cons: The cleanser smells like sewage. Burns my skin, AND my face looks worse now than it did before. Do not buy it! Bottom Line: Huge waste. Do not buy it unless you want the extra redness, dryness, burning feeling and oh yeah....the smell of sewage on your face. Recommended: No Usage: Kelli has used this item for about a week. Pros: It works for a little bit. Cons: Maybe it's just me, but eventually my skin got used to it, and it stopped working, which doesn't make sense, considering it contains 10% Benzoyl Peroxide. Pros: product was affordable, cheaper then proactiv. Cleans skin very well, reduces oily skin greatly. already see improvement in skin, yet may be too soon too tell. Acne has already begun to dry up and reduce in appearance Cons: skin has some redness. have used for 48 hours. had hoped for more dramatic results. Bottom Line: im 28 years old, and have never had acne until the last six months, my job requires a very upkept appearence. therefore when the acne wouldnt go away, i proceeded to wear MORE makeup to cover it, the more makeup i use, the more my acne develops, i've never dealt with it before but it had made me quite self conscience, and i hate to wear the amount of makeup i have to wear to just cover it up. i saw this product advertised, and decided to give it a try. in hopes it will work as it is said it will, i've used the product for two days. acne has already begun to dry up, yet not as quicky as i hoped. and skin is a little red. but can not tell if it is from the product or from the acne. im hopeful this product clears up my skin so my appearence is what it used to be. Pros: Can't think of any right now except its cheap. Cons: I have never seen my face look worse. Redness relief? Fights acne? I have never had this much redness or acne. Bottom Line: DONT BUY IT!! I bought this product last friday. After the first day I had developed 2 cystic pimples on my cheek. I stopped using the repairing lotion because I thought maybe it had been the benzoyl peroxide. As I continued use my face developed huge red splotches everywhere. Dry is not even the WORD for the skin that is falling off my face. The burning is unbelievable and I look as if i have been chemically burned all over. I haven't used this product in 2 and a half days and I continually get worse and worse everyday. Tomorrow I will certainly go see a DR to see what can be done. I also used a oil free lotion after I used the acnefree because I knew it could be drying. This is not drying of the skin. Its something far worse. This product is DEF not REDNESS RELIEF!! Buyer Beware. Recommended: No Usage: Kel has used this item for about a week. Pros: Shrinks your pores, reduces the oily feeling on my skin, and leaves skin feeling smooth. Cons: BURNS LIKE CRAZY!!! This product burned my skin, gave it a red appearance, left some discoloration, AND I just found out my skin is PEELING!!!!!!!!!!! Bottom Line: Its not worth the time, effort, money, or hope!!! The sides of my eyes are red and raw and beneath them they are peeling and have a lighter tone compared to the rest of my skin. Above my eyes are peeling too! People say this is the best product for oily skin, and I have oily skin and I say they're DEAD WRONG!!! Pros: My skin was oily & I was breaking out even more than normal (my face hurt). The 1st time I used it, my face felt cleaner & less oily. By the 2nd day, my face was clearer & smoother. My pimples are shrinking & don't hurt and I've only used it 3x. Cons: None so far. But I could see where it might dry your face out - just use oil-free lotion or use less frequently. I haven't had any problems yet though. Bottom Line: Try it! What have you got to lose? I used Proactiv, and so far this works better (Proactiv made me break out the 1st couple of times I used it). Pros: Worked quickly for me. Did not dry my skin. Made pores appear smaller. Affordable. Cons: Can't purchase the products separately, with the exception of the cleanser. Bottom Line: I don't think this product is designed for those with sensitive or combination skin, but for those with oilier, thicker skins, it should work. I used the AcneFree Severe kit, and it significantly reduced my breakouts within a couple of weeks. I didn't peel at all, even with the 10% BP solution. I rarely get cysts anymore -- I think I've had maybe 2 since I started using this 10 months ago. And those were quickly zapped with Mario Badescu's Buffering Lotion. I do get a large pimple about once a month, but it's a vast improvement over what I looked like before. I had a better experience with AcneFree than I did with prescription medications or other OTC products. Recommended: Yes Usage: Lola has used this item for about a year. Pros: Clears up acne pretty quickly Cons: Left my skin VERY dry and red. Seems somewhat irreparable. Bottom Line: Do a skin test before using. I do not have sensitive skin, and was very surprised that my skin reacted in such a drastic way.
