Pros: Clears acne!! Cons: None. Bottom Line: This cleared up my acne very quickly. I saw results in only days. I have tried so many products and this has been the only one that has helped. Pros: it clears the red blemish's i had and minimized the size of the pimples Cons: drys out my skin and that is bad seeing as how i already had dry skin and im exremly itchy! Pros: Price (no more expensive than other face washes when you look at monthly), doesn't dry out skin (b/c it has a moisturizer), and it doesn't have the bad effect that Proactiv does if you miss a day. Cons: Nothing except it has 3 steps, but that doesn't make it take longer, I'm just a little lazy :) Bottom Line: I bought the Costco 3 MONTH supply and have been using it for about 3 weeks. It's been awesome so far! I get deep blemishes, not really ever whiteheads or blackheads, and this has cleared them up completely! I've heard if you use proactiv your skin freaks out if you miss a day, but this doesn't cause that. It's easy to use, and it WORKS. Obviously, it's not for everyone. I have combination skin, not overly dry or oily, so my skin hasn't really dried out or anything like others' have. I also normally have a lot of redness around my nose and on either side (have my whole life), and my skin tone has evened out BIG time. Overall, very happy! Pros: It smoothed my skin with in the first 2 days, reduced redness, smells fresh and clean, and is easy to do. IT WORKS Cons: Takes a week to clear larger acne, and dries skin the first week you use it Bottom Line: I have just bought this product a few days ago hoping its going to work since proactive has worked wonders for me in the past. It has all the same ingredients as proactive! Its just cheaper, with the same stuff in it, and with a different label... So far there is less redness and oiliness of my skin, and im already feeling pretty and much more confident. If your skin has failed other treatments, acne-free may work depending on your skin type. Or you could go to a dermatologist and have them chose the treatment for you once they have considered your skin type. Also if it doesnt work for you within a month, you can get your money back, so everyone wins! :D Recommended: Yes Usage: Alyssa has used this item for about a week. Pros: definately saw a change within the first week Cons: Dry Dry Dry skin which makes putting makeup on hard. And it seemed to shrink the big zits but they didn't go away, they turned a funny purple color and were more like blackheads. When I popped them it was like a zit underneath a blackhead. Bottom Line: It works better than the prescription stuff I've tried but not as well as advertised. I think maybe my makeup might have something to do with the weird purple-ish blackhead on top of a zit thingy. Recommended: Yes Usage: Rachel has used this item for about a month. Pros: it cleared up my face Cons: it burns my face and dries it out bad Bottom Line: i have used this product for 3 days. after the first application of step one my face started burning so i continued with the other steps twice a day leaving step one out. my face is so red, raw, and hurting. my face doesnt break ouy that bad but when it does i want something to help and this does. but i can not get pass the burning pain on my face. i am going to call and get my money back. Pros: When I first used Acnefree, I broke out. But I continued to use it, and as my face got used to it, the affect started kicking in. Acnefree reduced my pimples (clears some). Cons: It made my face really dry and started peeling off, and then would become extremely oily to make up for it. This product doesn't really clear up the skin 100%. After 9 months of using it, I could tell how the effect was shrinking. Bottom Line: Don't use Acnefree if you want it your pimples to clear 100%. But it works (especially for its cheap cost). Since they have 30 days money back, you could test it out. Every face is different. Recommended: Yes Usage: Reviewer has used this item for about a year. Pros: THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE 'SENSITIVE' LINE. Works for a while Cons: Stops working after about 2 months (almost as if your face has built up immunity to it or something). Oil-free moisturizer gives skin an oily appearance (-_-) Bottom Line: I would recommend it if they sold all the products half the size they are now (half the price also), so it finishes when it stops working. Pros: Worked for me, very affordable price compared to the other competitors Cons: Overly drying at first, ridiculously very hard to squeeze out of the bottle due to tiny dispensing holes Bottom Line: I've been using the product (original version, not the severe or sensitive skin versions) for about a month now and I can say that I'm fairly satisfied with the results. The first setback I encountered when using the product for the first time was that I couldn't even squeeze the Step 1 Cleanser stuff out of the bottle. How this passed the manufacturing stage is beyond me. I heard some bottles have this "flaw". But luckily, poking a hole with a knife seems to resolve the issue easily. Anyways, using the product at first dried out my skin which I kind of expected. You just have to use the product in small amounts at the beginning so that your skin will gradually tolerate it. The only thing I'm worried about is if the product will continue to work for me in the long run because Proactiv quit working for me after several months as if my skin just became immune to it. Pros: It improved the quality of my skin. My skin is naturally oily, and it helped control this. Cons: It did not help clear up any of my acne. I saw no improvement whatsoever after two weeks of regular use. In fact, if anything, I saw more blackheads appear on my face after. Bottom Line: AcneFree did control the quality of my skin and I also saw less redness and rosatia. However, it failed to perform the job that it had advertised. My skin has just as many blackheads and pimples as it did before I started using this product. In fact, I counted three more infected places on my face that were not there before I started using this product. If you would like to control the amount of oil and redness on your face, then AcneFree is the product for you! If you would like for your face to actually clear itself of impurities, then use something else other than this system. Recommended: No Usage: Amanda has used this item for about a month.
