Pros -Doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, as in no noticeable allergic reaction to my contact dermatitis
-basic moisturiser with good ingredients and no added fragrance, irritants etc.
-takes care of flakiness
Cons -WAY TOO OILY (to the point where it just sits on your face, feels and looks heavy)
-I'm not 100% but I think there may be some reaction between the bp and the moisturiser that makes the skin more red. Before I wait to apply the lotion I have no redness but after applying it I'm looking really flush. ???
Bottom line I've been using the complete DK regimen for a few months now. I find that the moisturiser has way too much oil that just sits on your face and doesn't absorb. Looks terrible especially with makeup that will be a smeared mess after a few hours. Feels greasy and heavy, and looks greasy. After a day of being out I just have the urge to wash my face immediately as it feels quite gross and uncomfortable. I like the idea of having a basic moisturiser but this stuff just isnt absorbing even with my dry skin. Going to look around for alternatives. May work for some, didn't work for me.

Pros - Moisturizing
-Great ingredients
-Great price
-Can be used anywhere
Cons Starting off with the regimen quite a while ago, my skin really didn't have much of a problem with any of the acne.org products, but eventually it went dowhill. Obviously from using BP, my skin would naturally be dried out and red, but eventually the moisturizer totally exacerbated my skin, causing flakiness, soreness and wasn't doing its job of moisturizing (for me at least)
Bottom line Its a great product when it worked well, but be aware if your skin starts reacting to the moisturizer.

Pros good for the "i live in the sahara desert" look.
Cons so oily that you can cook food/eggs/etc. with the oil dripping from your face.
Bottom line vaseline is better than this, this is the worst product i everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr bought. dont be the enemy of your own face. give this only to people you hate if you want to seek revenge on them and see cystic acne all over them.

Pros +No fragrance
+Very light
Cons +Makes my already oily skin even more oily (noticed it already contained Jojoba seed oil in the ingredients list)
+It never fully absorbs
+Causes extra redness in conjuction with the BP
+Seems to sit on top skin giving it a "wet" look for a good hour or more
Bottom line I wouldn't recommend this for people with oily skin like me. It seems like it would moisturize really well if it would just absorb. Instead it just seems to create a layer of wetness or grease on top of my skin. It takes quite a while for that to go away and not everyone may have the time to wait it out.

I understand the reason why it may cause extra redness when used in conjunction with the BP, any moisturizer may do the same. However for me, this product caused redness even without the BP. I glob fell off my fingertips at one point and landed on my neck. I figured I'd just smooth it in like I do with my face (there was no BP on at the time). After about 20 minutes my whole neck broke out into a rash. But just my neck, not my face, which was odd to me. I'm sure it just takes some getting used to, but I expected the BP to cause more discomfort than the moisturizer.

Overall, it's not a terrible moisturizer, it's just not for me. Just make sure you understand some of the side effects it MAY cause you before you purchase it. And if you do get some, remember it just may take some getting used to first, so give it a try. I'll probably end up going with Cetaphil or something else. But I don't regret trying it. The rest of Dan's products however are awesome :D

Pros Amazing I can use this after the ben peroxide has dried. Definitely worth using as otherwise my skin is too dry with just the ben peroxide on.
Cons Makes my skin a bit red after applying it on top of the ben peroxide (this is slowly getting less and less as my skin gets used to it) but I'm only putting the ben peroxide and moisturizer on at night so by morning my skin is rested and looks great; redness has gone.
Bottom line Can't live without it.

Pros None
Cons Makes skin super oily
Bottom line This moisturizer was never any good when I was on the Acne.org regimen. The Cleanser is amazing, the treatment is great and worked well (stopped working after a year though, still recommend the regimen because it may work longer for others) HOWEVER, the moisturizer was just plain bad. It left my face super oily ALWAYS and also the flakes from my skin were never cleared when using this moisturizer. If you go on the regimen (again, I recommend cause it worked for a while and gave me a great high school life) try to get another moisturizer, the proactiv moisturizer worked best for me (not their crap 3 step system though....)

Pros Its thinner and not globby like some moisturisers
Cons -Makes my oily skin oilier which in turn makes me break out (not severely, but enough to be annoying), because bacteria feeds on the oil
-The warmth of my hands makes it really runny and hard to apply
-Makes my face shiny which is something I try to avoid
-Only masks/hides the flakiness, but doesn't really get rid of it. If I stretch my skin in places I can see where there is still flakiness even after applying this product.
-Slightly stings, and not the same way the AHA stings.
Bottom line I have been using it because it was part of the regimen, but when the AHA was made, I noticed how moisturising it was and stopped using the moisturiser as much. It was then that I noticed that when my face was oilier I would break out, and the moisturiser made it extremely oily. It seemed to just sit on my face and I would have to blot it all off anyway. So after years of using this regimen and tweaking it here and there for my own needs I've concluded that it just isnt that great of a moisturiser, which is sad, because the rest of Dan's regimen has been awesome for me. I hope he can make something better in the future as far as a moisturiser goes and take into account those of us who have bad combination skin.

Pros -Not expensive
-Fairly good moisturizer.
Cons -Leaves your face looking greasy
-Doesn't really absorb. Kind of just stays on top of the skin.
Bottom line This isn't a bad moisturizer, but its definitely not anything special. I would use it if it didn't make my face look greasy during the day time, which is kind of gross. I think you'll like having another over the counter moisturizer of your choice. I don't believe this is vital to the success of the Regimen.

But, like I said, its not bad.
