Pros: WOW in just 2 uses it completely cleared my red, flaky, dried skin, i was SHOCKED. Cons: APSOLUTELY NOTHING Bottom Line: This is the only lotion out of the 20 ive used that actually helped with my flaky and red skin! The other lotions are just scams, seriously, if your skin is super red and flaky, this product is PERFECTION. Recommended: Yes Usage: Brad has used this item for about a week. Pros: Moisturizes skin very well, spreads easily and absorbs fast. Cons: Made my face very oily and shiny. Bottom Line: I have been using all of Dan's products except for the moisturizer for almost 2 years now. I was using CeraVe moisturizing lotion and decided to try Dan's moisturizer since I was using the rest of his products. I do like how it spreads easily after my benzoyl peroxide has dried, but it made my face super oily even if I didn't put on so much. I also noticed that I got a few little pimples on my chin, and I don't break out anymore, so it must have been from this. Overall, this product is pretty great! I have to go back to CeraVe since it doesn't make me oily and greasy, but CeraVe is hard to spread and usually balls up with my BP. I'll probably give Dan's moisturizer again in a few weeks. Pros: Lightweight, super moisterizing, fragrance-free, controls flakiness, does not cause breakouts! Cons: NONE! Bottom Line: I'll be honest and say that this is the first moisterizer I've ever used! I was always afraid that it would make me break out even worse, but that definitely isn't the case. This moisterizer works incredibly and completely rids my skin of any flakiness caused by the BP. Since I first started using this I've been adding 5 drops of jojoba oil. I do it every morning and night. At first my skin was SUPER shiny from the moisterizer. After a few weeks of use that completely changed and now it just leaves my skin feeling so refreshed. I feel like I can't put enough on! Pros: Smells great, light weight, very, very hydrating. Cons: Leaves my skin shiny, takes a long time to absorb. Bottom Line: I'd say this is great for night time but, for the day, it just leaves me with super shiny, oily looking skin that can't take make up. Other than that, this works very well and I would recommend it. Recommended: Yes Usage: Haley has used this item for a few months. Pros: Incredibly moisturizing, fragrance free, large size (so you don't have to reorder as often), very affordable. Cons: Can cause moderate to severe stinging if you have open acne lesions or skin that is otherwise cracked or irritated (if this is a problem, it would still be great for use on the body). No SPF. Bottom Line: I would recommend that everyone try this moisturizer. It's very lightweight and very moisturizing. It also does not leave your skin super shiny like some moisturizers do. Adding a few drops of jojoba oil works really well to take care of any flakiness (but does increase the shine a bit). Also, because it's sooo moisturizing it takes quite a long time to absorb/dry completely. I've found that trying to apply powder mineral makeup over it does not work well at all. If you use this moisturizer I highly suggest using a liquid foundation. Recommended: Yes Usage: Megan has used this item for an inconsistent period of time. Pros: It's lightweight and didn't make my face overly greasy. Cons: Smells TERRIBLE, burns and irritates my skin, the more moisturizer I used the dryer and more patchy my skin got. Bottom Line: It smells so bad I wait as long as possible to tell my boyfriend bye in the morning because I don't want to lean in for a kiss and have him smell the god awful stench coming from my face. Pros: Takes care of flaky skin Cons: burns. turns my skin bright red...even after waiting 30 minutes to put on after applying BP Bottom Line: Doesn't work with my skin. Irritates and burns. Turns my face bright red. If I work out, doesn't matter how long the lotion has been on my face, the burning sensation increases by ten fold when I start to sweat!! It's almost unbearable! Lucky the stinging sensation goes away immediately after I rinse off my face. I will stick with Olay Complete for day and night moisturizer. Pros: Not really any for me. Cons: Bad reaction with my skin, it burned and made it sooo flaky and red (I thought it was the bp and gave up on bp but realised it was actually the moisturiser!). Bottom Line: It did not moisturise for me at all. It made things worse. I would have been better off not using a moisturiser at all. Recommended: No Usage: Kate has used this item for about a month. Pros: Feels great on skin & does not break skin out. Started working from the first day of use. Great price (much lower than store bought products, even with shipping cost considered). Cons: Has to be ordered (super-fast shipping, though!). Shipping cost (although appropriately priced for weight of product). I can definitely live with the cons, as they are so minor! Bottom Line: Dan's regimen & products are AMAZING! I am 35, & have struggled with acne since my teens. NOTHING has worked for me. I eat healthy, exercise, & drink 12-16 8-oz. glasses of water/ day. I NEVER drink soda, & rarely (maybe 3-4 times/ year) have caffeine. When I was 19 & 20, my skin did clear up. However, during my 1st pregnancy, I began breaking out again. For the past 15 yrs, I have struggled with acne, & have tried EVERYTHING; from expensive to inexpensive, antibiotics (not Accutane) to holistic approaches. Each time I would go to my primary Dr. for illness, etc., she would mention my acne. That is WITH my makeup on. Believe me, I learned a great deal about makeup & concealing (as I was having to live with the acne). This is the 1st time that my acne has cleared in, again, 15 yrs. I currently do not take anything other than vitamins (Zinc-40mg 2x/day, Niacin-750 mg 2x/ day, Folate-350 mcg 2x/day, Copper-2 mg 2x/day, & Omega-3 fish oil 1x/ day. Pros: None really. Cons: This stuff just burns, turns my face red, and I don't even think I have THAT sensitive of skin. It's so sticky, woke up with pillow glued to my face. I don't know one is physically supposed to use 1.5 pumps with out looking like ultra oily. Bottom Line: Oily, sticky, burns, redness. No bueno. Love dan's BP, but really despise this stuff.
