| Cons | Leaves my face shiny, this is the worst thing about this moisturizer. People can tell you have something on your face because it is shiny from the moisturizer. Stings just a little, but I don't have a big problem with that. |
| Bottom line | I have a real hard time with any moisturizer. Most make me break out. This one is near the top of the list of the many I have tried. I like how it is light and goes on almost like water. It moisterizes pretty well. The biggest down side for me is that it leaves my skin shiny. Plus, like most moisturizers for me, it feels oily pretty quickly and I feel like I need to wash my face and get it off. I have to use it very sparingly. |

| Bottom line | I had only high expectations for this product and wanted to hopefully be able to praise it but unfortunately like others here have said, it caused me to break out! I have since stopped using it and my face has improved but its hard to recommend something that didn't seem to work for me. I look forward to the next generation of moisturizer that Dan is coming out with, hopefully that one will work well for me. |

| Bottom line | I have tried many moisturisers since I started Dans regimen about 3 years ago, some useless and some very good (ie Eucerin renewal). This moisturiser does not make sense as initially it worked a treat and I was chuffed to bits with it. It kept my flakes at bay (I do suffer from dry skin) and absorbed like a dream. After using if for approximately 6 weeks however my skin has started flaking very badly (I have not altered any other aspect of my regimen/lifestyle as far as I know). It seems now that no matter how much of this moisturiser that I apply on an evening (ie applying it every hour before bed) that come the next morning my face has dried out in places and is flaking. I am switching back to "Simple replenishing rich moisturiser" which i would recommend to anyone in the UK who seeks a rich moisturiser. I think Dan is a legend for his work but there is something 'not quite right' with Dans moisturiser which needs looking into. Fingers crossed! |

| Bottom line | This is easily my favorite moisturizer of all those that I have tried. It's similar in consistency to Complex 15 Therapeutic Face Cream (my old favorite), but somewhat more moisturizing and definitely a better value. It hasn't made me break out and goes on feeling very nice, only a very faint tingling sensation. The smell is unlike that of any other beauty product I have tried before, and very nice, and it goes away fairly quickly. This moisturizer layers well with sunscreen products and makeup, too. I use it on top of BP and a layer of jojoba oil. I've not yet needed to reapply it during the day, but I could see how someone with very parched skin might need to use a thicker moisturizer to get the flaking initially under control--but then they should definitely switch to this one! |

| Pros | Light, non-greasy, contains excellent ingredients, works well under makeup, moisturizes extremely well, gets rid of flakes, contains jojoba oil, great price for 8oz, comes with a handy pump, makes your skin smooth, doesn't cause breakouts. |
