| Pros | Lathers well. Is very gentle and fragrance free. PH balancing. Cleans well without stripping your skin. |
|---|---|
| Cons | None. |
| Bottom line | This is by far the best facial cleanser I have ever used. I find my skin has been significantly less oily since I've started using it. It's gentle, and does not burn your skin when you wash with it, even if your skin is dry or irritated from benzoyl peroxide. |

| Pros | Very gentle. Doesn't cause breakouts. Lathers well. Removes excess oil. |
|---|---|
| Cons | None. |
| Bottom line | Dan's Kit and regimen has saved me. Follow the directions faithfully and your acne will soon disappear. Slowly ramp up the benzoyl peroxide and make sure to moisturize. If you still suffer from flakiness add jojoba as Dan recommends. Be gentle and patient! The products will speak for themselves. |

| Pros | No fragrance, no added dyes. Leaves skin feeling clean. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Broke me out terribly in little whiteheads all over my face. |
| Bottom line | I already have cystic acne and large pores and was looking for a cleanser that would not add to that acne. This cleanser felt nice on and cleansed well, but the next forming I had horribly congested skin and I still do. I'm so surprised that a website product that should KNOW about cleansers created one that works just like one in a drugstore. Very disappointed. |

| Pros | gentle, inexpensive for the size, easy pump, lathers up. |
|---|---|
| Cons | the smell is so strong it made me nauseous. |
| Bottom line | everything is perfect about this cleanser except the strong smell that almost reminds me of a very strong alka seltzer. |

| Pros | Mild fragrance, nice consistency, cleanses my face well, doesn't over-dry. |
|---|---|
| Bottom line | I love this face wash. You can't find many cleansers like this in stores... dye-free, no medicine added. I am almost through my 8 oz bottle. I didn't order a new one because I picked up some Cetaphil at the store and am going to try that for a while to see if it works as well as this. If it doesn't, I am certainly going back to this. Fantastic product. |

| Pros | Cleanses without drying. Doesn't Cause Acne. |
|---|---|
| Cons | No Fragrance, making it smell bland, which maybe a good thing. |
| Bottom line | Prior to this cleanser I was juggling a ton of cleansers for the different times of the day. I used Ellen Lange, which is a very gentle mineral cleanser, for the morning wash and Laventine Olive Oil Cleanser, PCA #13, & Jan Marini Bioglycolic in the evening. This cleanser is so gentle that I have been able to replace my very gentle morning cleanser w/ this, and not suffer any dryness during the day. I have also had great success w/ removing acne tx and masks w/o having to revert to an oil cleanser first. So far no irritation, no breakout and it completely cleanses. BTY, this lathers just fine for me, when I wet my face first. However I am still keeping Laventine's Olive Oil cleanser for MU removal, but everything else I have been able to eliminate. I am glad I took the chance w/ this one. Update: I just order 2 more 16oz bottles. I use this cleanser a lot now, and it has saved me money with doubling as good brush cleaner. |

| Pros | cheap, it lathers and foams very well. Cleans skin. |
|---|---|
| Cons | is very drying! ! not recommended for oily skin or dry skin. |
| Bottom line | well so much for a gentle cleanser Dan. Have you guys looked at the list of ingredients yeah cucumber is there among with other chemicals. As far as a cleanser it really is a good cleanser it cleans your skin good. I don't recommended for acne since acne is produced by oil. My face is very oily so i tried this and since it dries your skin it made it more oily not good. So bottom line i don't know how so many people put good reviews since is too drying for oily skin which is not good and for people with dry skin i think it might be worst. Not impressed, disappointed. |

| Pros | Feels great on skin & does not break skin out. Started working from the first day of use. Great price (much lower than store bought products, even with shipping cost considered). |
|---|---|
| Cons | Has to be ordered. Shipping cost (although appropriately priced for weight of product). I can definitely live with the cons, as they are so minor! |
| Bottom line | Dan's regimen & products are AMAZING! I am 35, & have struggled with acne since my teens. NOTHING has worked for me. I eat healthy, exercise, & drink 12-16 8-oz. glasses of water/ day. I NEVER drink soda, & rarely (maybe 3-4 times/ year) have caffeine. When I was 19 & 20, my skin did clear up. However, during my 1st pregnancy, I began breaking out again. For the past 15 yrs, I have struggled with acne, & have tried EVERYTHING; from expensive to inexpensive, antibiotics (not Accutane) to holistic approaches. Each time I would go to my primary Dr. for illness, etc., she would mention my acne. That is WITH my makeup on. Believe me, I learned a great deal about makeup & concealing (as I was having to live with the acne). This is the 1st time that my acne has cleared in, again, 15 yrs. I currently do not take anything other than vitamins (Zinc-40mg 2x/day, Niacin-750 mg 2x/ day, Folate-350 mcg 2x/day, Copper-2 mg 2x/day, & Omega-3 fish oil 1x/ day. I highly recommend Dan's products! |
