Pros Works, great price
Cons None
Bottom line I use the Acne.org benzoyl peroxide treatment, moisturizer and cleanser with great results. I'm a 26 year old woman and still have not outgrown acne so I'm thrilled to find something that keeps my skin about 90% clear. I could probably get to about 99% if I were diligent about using all three products every day.

Pros A little goes a long way
Nice lather
No residue
Cons None
Bottom line I have tried just about everything on the market both over-the-counter and prescription. Dan's products take the cake. You cann't beat the price or how well they work. The simplicity of the regimen is also a plus. At one time my dermatologist had me on 2 oral medications, 2 facial washes, and 2 topicals every day. Talk about a hasel and a money trap. Thank you Dan for making such a good and afforadable product.

Pros Does not have a strong scent
Does not irritate my skin
Does not dry out my skin
Lathers up without a problem
Affordable when purchased seperate from kit
Bottom line I really like this cleanser, I dont mind the smell, it does remind me of something found in a medical place but that makes me think clean. I follow the regimen so I lather up and have the soap on my face for 10 seconds and rinse off. I pat dry and wait till I have to apply the BP, I have sensitive skin and my skin does not feel tight or dry after washing like I have experienced with other cleaners. So until I find something wrong I will keep using it.

Pros clear
gentle
moisterizing
not greasy or oily
doesn't worsen acne
cleans off all dirt and excess oil
not drying
Cons smells a bit weird, very feint though
Bottom line I love this cleanser! It's one of, if not THE best I've ever tried. Would reccomend it to anyone with acne because it leaves your skin super clean without the dryness and flakiness that you get sometimes from other acne cleansers. I will definitely buy this again. Worth what it cost.

Pros economic, only takes a little, cuts through layers and layer of gels
only takes 10 secs
Cons drying
Not exfoliating, a lot of dead skin cells rub on my paper towel when I dry.
Bottom line I only need about a quarter of a pump to wash my face. Hence, a bottle can last months. More than that, and it's too drying for my skin.

It's the shortest step of the regimen. I rub vigorously in my palms to lather, rub on for 10 secs than rinse. I pat dry.

If you use the AHA or BP you'll find dead skin sloughing off. These products lift them off but the cleanser doesn't remove them from my face. And they need to be removed to really show the radiate clear skin underneath.

Pros Prepares skin for Benzoyl Peroxide
Can use as Shampoo also
Unlike most gentle cleansers, makes skin FEEL clean.
Cons After I wash my face with this it makes me VERY pale.
Bottom line I have dark skin because I am biracial (mom is black, dad is white) Although I LOVE the cleanser, I notice that with my type of skin it seems to make me look very white and pale afterwards, I even follow the 10 second rule and make sure to pat dry only. I don't know if this is normal for people of color when they use this, but sometimes I am so pale from it that people around the house worry that I am sick. My color seems to come back after I apply the Benzoyl Peroxide and the Moisturizer (all Dan's). and that is the ONLY reason I didn't give this the extra star is because of how pale it makes me. However it is MUCH better than Cetaphil's Gentle Cleanser. I reccomend this (if your not on the regimen and just looking for a good cleanser) to people with caucasian skin

Pros Big Bottle
Foams Easily
Removes Makeup
Not Overly Drying
Cons None
Bottom line I really like this cleanser. I've used top brands costing upwards of $100+ for a small bottle and this one outperforms without a doubt. It took a couple weeks for my skin to adjust and in that time it felt a little dry as I also used the Benzoyl Peroxide treatment at the same time, but now my skin is the clearest it has been since I was 12! (I'm almost 26 now) I can't remember the last breakout I had... :)
