Pros: Removes oil and grime. Feels good while washing. Cons: Makes skin very tight, especially around the eyes. Left my eye area tired-looking and noticeably lined. Switched to Eucerin Redness Relief Soothing Cleanser. (I have sensitive oily skin.) Bottom Line: I bought the cleanser and used it twice a day for three months. While it did a good job of cleaning my skin without leaving it flaky, I gradually noticed that my eye area was looking dry and wrinkled. I had very few wrinkles in that area normally. However, I never made the connection to the cleanser because I usually followed the regimen with a gentle moisturizer around the eyes. But over time, even the moisturizer couldn't keep the dryness and lines at bay. I decided to stop using the cleanser and switched to Eucerin Redness Relief. Within two days my eyes felt less dry. Within one week all signs of dryness were gone -- as were most of my lines!!! PLEASE realize that ANY product can cause sensitivity and sometimes it's not immediately obvious. Had I not switched I would have been walking around with very tired and dry eyes and have not known why. Dan is to be commended for all his hard work on these products and I still use his BP once a day. But for me -- this was a no-go. Recommended: No Usage: Reviewer has used this item for a few months. Pros: got skin really clean, reduced breakouts Cons: made my face and neck so dry it was painful and flaky Bottom Line: I've been using the regimen for over 6 months. At first Dan's face wash was fine, but after about 2 week my whole neck was tight dry and flaky and then my face became unbearable dry. Pros: does exactly what it's supposed to do. it's gentle and it goes a looooong way. i bought my first bottle in march and i'm not even done with it in october! Cons: none. Pros: Smooth on face Cons: No difference to Cetaphil Bottom Line: I won't be purchasing here again.Im so stunned by the custom fee i had to pay. 26dollars CND! +22 dollar usd shipping+37.00 for the set. :S Im an avid buyer on EBAY and shipping expensive here for something that weighs that much thru UPS. Buy Cetaphil at drug stores if you are living in Canada. It's less expensive to buy 14OZ CETAPHIL,8 tubes of 1oz 2.5% or 5% BP gel and 2 4oz of Aveeno or Cetaphil moisturizer +GST/PST than purchasing the entire set here. Works just as well. I have sensitive skin and using BP gel created more acne on my very mild acne face. $22 is division from $88 dollars i spent on 4items. Pros: -Does what it says without overdrying. -Very light, pleasant smell. -Generous amount (16 oz), and I only use a single pump when applying. Cons: None really. Pros: good lather, nice size, doesn't dry out skin Cons: leaves skin too oily, expensive shipping Bottom Line: i really like the rest of the daniel kern products, but i have gone back to my old soap. like the rest of daniel kern's products, this is really expensive to ship, so it's not worth it to me. it left my skin too oily, and after a week or two my acne was significantly worse than it had been previously. now i use my old soap and the daniel kern bp and moisturizer and things are back on track! Pros: None Cons: Over dries skin Bottom Line: This did not work for my oily skin, found that it overdried the surface of my skin but left my skin oily underneath. Pros: Huge size. Very cleansing. A little bit moisturizing. Crazy lather. Nice packaging. Gets rid of excess oils and dirt. Non-irritating. pH Balanced. Cons: Shipping costs. Not in-stores. Has a little smell, but washes away. Bottom Line: I love this cleanser. It doesn't over dry. Trust me, I have used lots of cleansers out there and this is the only one that cleans well and doesn't over dry. The shipping cost a lot but it's a huge bottle and will last a long time. 9/10.
