Pros: Cheap Cons: I find this to be very drying and am sure to wash my face very quickly so that the cleanser is on my skin the least amount of time possible. Pros: good price (college student) clean scent. foams well. Cons: none. Bottom Line: i have mixed dry/oily sensitive mild acne and have been using proactiv for 6 years. i finally decided to switch to the acne.org 3 piece recently because it is more convenient, cheaper, and is actually working better! this wash is very basic (some people say it's a lot like cetaphil but i think they feel different). it doesn't seem to dry out my face and feels extremely gentle. i would recommend this to anyone who is fed up with proactiv! Pros: A gently foaming cleanser that doesn't over dry. PERFECT. Cons: None! Bottom Line: This cleanser is the BEST out there. Believe me, I've tried them all. It doesn't over dry and it removes makeup in a breeze. Guys can even use it as a shaving cream.. My husband loves it. My face was BAD, and it has cleared up BEAUTIFULLY with ALL of Dan's products! Pros: Scent free, easy on the skin, good size so it lasts a long time. Cons: Shipping costs Bottom Line: I came on to this site by accident and decided to test it out. I was already receiving proactive which was ok but rather costly. I liked that these were bigger but still cost efficient. It works really well for me. I never had severe severe acne but would still get some break outs here and there specifically close to that time of month. Since using all 3 of Dan’s products I now only occasionally get break outs. On a positive when I do they aren’t that red and they clear up very quickly now, typical with in 2 days. I would recommend at least trying it out. I just canceled my proactive today. Its going to be nice to have a product that I can order on my terms but still get a good price. Recommended: Yes Usage: Jenn has used this item for a few months. Pros: Lathers great and it pretty cheap. Cons: Dries out skin like crazy. There is no way this cleanser is gentle in any way. YOUR SKIN WILL PEEL BADLY! I do not have gentle skin by any means...I was using 10% benzoyl peroxide wash on my face at one time and it was not as drying as this wash. Bottom Line: I would use Purpose face wash. Pros: Lathers well, cleans very well, doesn't seem to have any ingredients that make me break out. Cons: Over drying. Bottom Line: Its a great cleanser other than the fact that its over drying. BP never used to make my face peel like this alone and switching to this cleanser made my face become like a war zone which needed moisturizer and a lot of it. It might be good for a lot of peoples skin with oily skin, but my skin is for the most part not too oily until the end of the day and if it was just a little less drying this cleanser would be perfect.
