Pros: I like the way this cleanses my skin; it always feels clean after I wash my face, & I have always had super oily skin! Cons: None Bottom Line: Using this product combined with the whole Regimen is substantially clearing my face. I've dealt with acne for close to 20 years (when did I get old enough to say that?!), and have tried TONS of products. I've used this one for almost a month and see quite an improvement. Another plus: I use one pump of the cleanser at each washing, which is plenty when you add just enough water to make it lather, and this bottle that is supposed to last one month is lasting MUCH longer! You really get your money's worth. I highly recommend the Acne.org Regimen! Recommended: Yes Usage: PrissyChrissy has used this item for about a month. Pros: Large quantity for a low price (i got the 8 oz in the starter kit). goes on easy and rinses easy. leaves no residue. Cons: not a good shaving cream (dan recommends using it to prevent variables. personally, ill stick to shaving cream) Bottom Line: great stuff. gentle and doesnt strip your skin. a ten second gentle wash leaves your face feeling clean and refreshed Recommended: Yes Usage: Pete has used this item for about a week. Pros: Consistency is near perfect, with just enough of a lather; rinses clean; doesn't sting or turn the face red (for those of you who have issues with cleansers doing that) Cons: Too drying to use alone; somewhat irritating to the eyes Bottom Line: Perhaps the lather is what makes this drying for some people. Pros: gentle, rinses clean, nice lather Cons: none Bottom Line: i've only just got dan's products and so far i love them. it's a nice cleanser and rinses off well. there is no fragrance but it does have a bit of a natural smell to it which i like. money well spent! Pros: Cleans well, even removes makeup well. No fragrence or color. Cons: Really bothered by eyes. Found it drying Bottom Line: My eyes are very sensitive, and I found it hard to believe that a cleanser could irritate my eyes all day, but this one did. Pros: Gentle, light texture, foams (if you like that) and rinses clean. Cons: Has just a different smell - but you get used to it after like, 3 days :) It's nothing to not use for! Bottom Line: Wow! Please please please - TRY THIS. I've "lurked" on this board for months - and was up and down on trying the Daniel Kern products. Please! If you are hesitating at ALL - try it. I was using ProActiv for over 5 years - and it finally just stopped working (for me and my sister.) I ordered the full Daniel Kern kit - and (I am not joking) after 2 days - It cleared up the acne from 5 years of Proactiv. I am a marathon runner - so I was curious to see how this product would handle my constant washing/sweat from running - and it works AMAZING. Please try this - I've tried Neutrogena, Clean and Clear, Acne-Free, and finally ProActiv - which literally burned my skin off. This stuff will work for you - please- give it a try! Pros: No scent, no residue left on the skin, you feel fresh after you use it. Keeps any breakouts at bay. Cons: Only available on the website, so takes a while to get a new bottle. Bottom Line: I did not have severe acne, but this product is also a miracle-worker for those of us with persistent almost-invisible blemishes that don't go away no atter what product you use. Pros: Very gentle, lathers up extremely well, pump bottle works great for getting an exact amount, can be used for shaving. Cons: None other than shipping costs, but that's to be expected. Bottom Line: I am following the DKR and this cleanser is simply amazing. I shave once a day and use this as a shaving "foam". Other shaving foams/gels (Barbasol, Edge, Gillette) sometimes give me acne so I am much safer with an actual cleanser, not to mention it does a very good job lubricating the face and blade. I have only noticed a faint smell so I suppose it changes bottle per bottle from reading these other reviews stating of strong smells. The cleanser itself washes off easily which is always nice and leaves the skin feeling great while removing excess oil and dirt. I only use 1 pump per application since it lathers up so nicely. 16oz will last months. Recommended: Yes Usage: Dan has used this item for a few weeks.
