Pros: It works, affordable, goes on clear absorbing quickly into the skin. Cons: Nothing really. Bottom Line: I would like to thank Dan for saving my skin. Best acne treatment ever. Highly recommend people to try this product with a good moisturizer. I currently use aloe with 2 drops of jojoba oil. My skin still dries a little around the centre of my face so tend to not apply BP as often because it can get irritating. Forehead and chin is 98% clear. Pros: Um, for starters, it cleared up my face as promised. I will cry if this ever stops working! I've tried everything and this is the one product that "came through" Cons: Mildly drying, but that's fine with me for the trade-off. Bottom Line: I love it. I finally like my skin! It looks great, clear, dewy (with a good moisturizer)- I practically don't even need foundation anymore, I'm just using to it even out blotchiness from old acne scars. Pros: great consistency, absorbs well, no pilling or weird white cast. Cons: can be drying, prefer tube to pump, takes a little time to rub into skin Bottom Line: this is the best bp i've used. i used proactiv's for a long time, but this is much better. i have found i can only use bp on a limited basis. right now, i use it about every other night. Pros: Price, size, presentation, it does work. The dispenser is a super big plus. Cons: My face is tighter or drier now, so I have to use moisturizer ABH (Alpha Beta Hydroxy) Oil Free Moisturizer from Beyond Belief (Sally Beauty Supply), with Proactive I did not. If this product had more moisturizer in its components would be per Bottom Line: As many others, I found this website on a search looking for a comparable option to Proactiv, which I have using for around 6 years now. It does work, but I am tired of paying their high price. I thought I should be able to find something much cheaper and I did find some, nevertheless, not with the right combination of 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide, but higher and this would definitely be too strong for me. I tried the Acne Free treatment, but I did not like the texture of consistency of it, kind of sandy. I was very concerned about the comments I read on this website mentioning that Dan's treatment would take long time to dry, but to my surprise it has a very good consistency or texture and it dries fast. I imagined a transparent and thick gel like Aloe Vera type, but it looks just like a cream, not a gel. Very good presentation, and lovely and ideal dispenser, it definitely beats Proactiv on this part. Recommended: Yes Usage: Magnolia has used this item for about a week. Pros: glides on well - much better then neutrogena only been using a week - going throught initital breakout Cons: none yet...hopefully it works Bottom Line: if it does the same thing neutrogen did then i would recommend, much better consistency and can wear during the day Recommended: Yes Usage: zach has used this item for about a week. Pros: Worked pretty well but by no means a miracle worker Cons: Made my face extremely red, itchy and flaky no matter how much moisturizer i put on Bottom Line: I think i may be allergic to it since it has caused me so much crusting on the face but i also have used proactiv which is also 2.5 % BP. Pros: Everything about the regimen is great except for the new packaging. Having had acnes for years, I have been using the regimen for the past 4.5 years and my skin has been clear. I am extremely grateful to Dan for the work he has done. Cons: I find the new 8oz and 16oz packaging incredibly fiddly to use and extremely user unfriendly. I have now given up and just transfer all the contents to a lidded container which I can access easily. Bottom Line: While I applaud the decision to introduce larger, more economical sizes, how a container design like this one could have been chosen defeats me. Also why not retain the old 4oz tube and provide some continuing choice about preferred container? There is a saving of precisely 48 cents between 2x4oz tubes and 1 8oz container - hardly a huge amount which indicates that the 40z tube remains economical. Pros: Affordable, works well, does not irritate my skin, has made my skin visibly healthier Cons: The moisturizer is too think to apply my make-up over :) Bottom Line: I started using the Regimen a couple months ago, and I'm very happy with the results. My acne is not cured, but it has worked better than any other product I've tried yet. My skin is smoother, doesn't flake, and my whiteheads are virtually gone. I have very severe acne and Proactiv, Differin, and many over the counter products did nothing but irritate my skin further. I highly recommend the Regimen. Pros: Almost eliminates my stubborn acne.. still hard for me to believe. Cons: Face is somewhat dry and red with 10x per week application. Bottom Line: I'm 35 with moderate but very stubborn acne ever since I was 16. I've used virtually every Rx product incl accutane. I was on topical antibiotics and differin for the last 6 years, and it worked well for most of that time but gradually my acne came back. So six weeks ago I had to switch to doxycycline and oral e-mycin, which used to work very well but this time stopped working. I suspect the bacteria became resistent. That's why I tried the Regimen. After just 2 weeks, my acne is 95% reduced. It's quite amazing, I wouldn't have believed a simple OTC product could work this well. Recommended: Yes Usage: tony has used this item for a few weeks. Pros: No fragrance, decent price, fast shipping Cons: Does not work at all, takes too long to apply, end up with too much gunk of my face, made red marks darker, must purchase online Bottom Line: I used this stuff for almost half a year hoping it would just take a while to kick in. It just made my red marks look worse with no change in my acne. It was a waste of money and time, resulting in increased hopelessness.
