I noticed the complaints about bleaching as well as reddening and flaking of skin. I have been able to combat both of these issues after using this product for 4 years now without a break.

For the bleaching I literally only own white towels now as this has become part of my life and I needed to adjust. I also only sleep in white shirts and own only white sheets. This was no big deal once adjustments were made and now everything looks bright and clean. Clothing wise if I wear a colored shirt I tend to wear a t-shirt underneath to prevent transfer.

For the reddening I invested a whole $4.00 for a bottle of aquaphor and put a tiny bit around my mouth and creases of my nose BEFORE applying BP. I have zero burning. I use CeraVe for my moisturizer which I use lightly and pat on and that seems to protect my eyes from burning. My skin is not scaly or dry even while using this product twice a day. Remember, all good products TRAVEL in your skin. Even if you are not putting something directly on your eyes or lips the product will travel or transfer from your pillow onto those areas. Protect with moisturizer.

I"ll use this until the day I die. It gets my skin about 70% of the way clear and it is a prominent part of my skin care regimen. I use it in the morning after Azelaic acid and use Retin-A at night. It's made all the difference in the world!

This works!! I'm 25 and I've battled with acne for a couple of years but it got worse after I quit birth control pills in December. My skin went through explosions of breakouts this summer over a period of 2 months. I had at least 5-6 new zits every day. It was horrible, I could barely leave the house. Makeup couldn't hide the bumps on my skin. Even my parents looked at me with pity because my face was covered with whiteheads and cysts on the jawline, cheeks, chin and forehead. The zits on my forehead subsided before starting on the BP treatment but I still got these pesky clusters of pimples on my cheeks, temples and jawline. So while I was planning my new skin regimen, Dan's treatment came to my mind. I was on the treatment for mild acne in the past when I was 16 but I quit because I had just started on the birth control pills so my skin improved and I didn't need the BP.

I'm on Day 16 of the BP treatment and my skin has massively improved and I don't have these awful bumps on my skin anymore. My skin has returned to a matte/normal look - no more oily cheeks, nose and forehead! I'm using Desert Essence Tea Tree cleanser for Oily/Combination skin and Emu oil as moisturizer. I still have a couple of pimples but they're quickly going away. My face is pretty robust so I've already upped the amount to a full-length (not so generous though) and only spot treat during the day.

My skin hardened during the first week and then it started peeling. My face is quite flaky and it seems like a new old layer of skin is constantly coming off. But I'm happy it does because it has helped peel away my old red marks! I only have faint traces of pimple marks left. The newest marks are quickly fading - I think it's because the BP shortens the healing process of the pimples, reducing the scars. Looking forward to more peeling actually! I work from home so I don't have to go out often.

Fix your website and don't charge people while telling them the charge did not go through! I love the product but am afraid to order from this website! It obviously does not have a secure payment process.

This is the most economical benzoyl peroxide treatment I have found, though I would suggest stocking up when you get it because of the steep shipping costs. It goes on more easily than Neutrogena's on-the-spot treatment, which is more of a cream. This stuff feels almost like water on your face in comparison and dries easily. It made my face feel like I had rubbed it in a patch of poison ivy until I adjusted to it after a week or so, but it was worth it because my skin is clearing up. Word of caution though, give your eyebrows a wide berth, because I smeared this stuff on multiple times forgetting this, and now my eyebrows are quite blonde and I'm waiting for them to grow out... Also, I would suggest having a specific towel you use for your face that you either don't care about or is white, unless you want to end up with half of your hand towels and face towels having bleached spots all over them like I have.

I started the regime using "on the spot", Cetaphil Cleanser and Cetaphil Moisturizer. I was thrilled that it worked and worked quite quickly. I love Cetaphil so I've decided to stick with those products but for convenience I decided to order a tube of the 2.5% BP Treatment from acne.org and it works so much better. It sinks into my skin better, its not as white as the on the spot cream and I find it gentler (or maybe my skin became more accustomed to the BP). I find the acne.org treatment gel cost effective and great on my skin.

Ive tried thousand SPF dollars worth of products and this works like a charm!!!! I am one happy happy happy happy customer!!!

I'm a 25-year old female with light to moderate acne, mostly hormonally caused, and fairly oily skin. I use to apply The Treatment in the AM + PM, but because A) I've stained so many towels and shirts even though I wash my hands thoroughly, and B) My acne is pretty well managed with 1x/day's application, I just use it at night now. On bad days I use it in the AM as well. It's lasted me +6 months (I stopped counting after 6) using it just 1x per day.

Even with all the cons, I still recommend The Treatment because for me, it's been the only thing that works (aside from cutting chocolate and candies from my diet!). I have been using it for 2 years.

I have suffered from light/moderate acne since the age of 13 which meant I had acne during my whole time at secondary school. I had to constantly cake make-up on to hide the horrible blemishes! In the first month of using this product my acne worsened and was very painful and itchy. My skin was flaky and dry but I persevered knowing that these symptoms were normal. This isn't a product that you apply and wake up the next day with perfect skin; it takes time for your skin to adjust to the Benzyl Peroxide and everyone's skin reacts in different ways! For me, my skin got worse before it got better.

After two months of using this product my skin started clearing up and I mean it looked AMAZING! My life has been turned around!!! I feel so confident and normal now my skin is clear.

I still get the odd spot around my period, but that is nothing in comparison to what I had before trying this regimen

This is the easiest, most cost effective treatment system I've ever come across. stop going to dermatologists, they are essentially giving you this product at a jacked up price. I've been struggling with acne for years and finally at around 22, I discovered this product.

My regimen:

I use Neutrogena Salicylic adic face wash every day, morning and night, followed by this acne.org treatment, and usually some moisturizer over top. That's it! And my skin is clear and beautiful. You can't miss a day, though, the treatment really acts as a shield for me at least. If I don't apply morning and night, I'll have problems the next day. Oh well, I'm willing to stick to it because I'm so fed up with my problem skin!

Can't recomend enough, I've been using for 2 years and will continue for years to come!
