Pros: does a good job of clearing acne. you have to stick to the regiment!!!! Cons: dries face out, and turns face red (some of this has subbsided but still a little dry and red) Bottom Line: Well im very glad I gave this a try. I have been using the stuff for about a mounth and out of the regime the bp gel is the best. When I started I did not follow the regime perfectly, I tried to use too much bp to fast. If you do this no matter how resilant you think your skin is, you will regret it and become red and dry out. So I was forced to drop the bp amount to a much small amount. Only now am I on the full amount of bp and I am starting to clear up. It is certainly worth a try, and hopfully my redness will continue to subside. Also I have hade troubles finding a mosturizers Dans makes my face red. I tried aloe gel but does not work that well. GOOD LUCK Recommended: Yes Usage: chuc has used this item for about a month. Pros: Started clearing up my smaller pimples on the first day. By week 4, all my pimples were gone. Makes my skin soft & smooth. Cons: The BP stung a lot the first few days but I kept using it daily because I wanted to get rid of my acne BADLY. My entire face was really flaky the first week, but it quickly resolved. Bottom Line: I was a skeptic because I've used everything from low end to high end for my acne and the acne treatments usually works the first few weeks and quits working. This has been the first product that has worked and kept working to stop my acne. Also, small insight, I had waves of breakouts before my skin cleared completely, so don't get discouraged if this happens to you. Keep using it! I still have dark marks from where my pimples were so I'm going to try the glycolic acid AHA cream to fade them. Recommended: Yes Usage: AVinTN has used this item for about a month. Pros: Tone of my skin has improved Cons: ugh-actually gave me cysts, have a few huge painful pimples at a time that just won't go away, substantial drying Bottom Line: I have only been using it for two weeks, but I had really hoped it would not make my skin worse before it gets better. And it did. I have never had cysts before and such big painful pimples. And I am not even fully sure that it will get better. I had been on tazorac for 9 months and it totally destroyed my face so I am not optimistic about products now. So I am discouraged but hopefully by two months I'll be clear. However, regarding some of the other reviews on this product, it stops working after a couple years..so then whats the point. I guess I just have to wait and see for myself. Pros: Works and doesn't irritate skin. has a nice glide texture and allows you to properly spread it everywhere without it drying too quickly. Cons: If it doesn't totally try then the products you put over it might ball up a bit. Also it takes some time to work it in and I'm only using one pump. I'm almost scared to use two pumps. Bottom Line: I love this product. The only major con is that it does have a nice glide, but it almost doesn't want to absorb too readily into your skin so you need to spend some time working it in and then waighing for it to dry. Aside from that it is a wonderful product and I highly recommend it. It has cleared up my face and now everyone is telling me how great my skin looks and that feeling is wonderful. Pros: It is cheap AND effective! Cons: The application process is time-consuming, and it will bleach out all your hand towels Bottom Line: I have tried many acne cures, but this will be the last, as there is no need for me to look any further! It worked like a charm for me. After the initial 8-week period, my skin was clear and I was able to drop down to one application a day (at night). Pros: I sent off for this product hoping it would help my skin, and it did .. for a while. It goes on really clear and vanishes nicely. I don't have huge cysts like I used to. Cons: It's too expensive for me to get regularly. And the bottle pump-cap broke within 15 minutes of me opening the package. And after three months my acne has started to get really bad again. Bottom Line: This is probably the most effective product I've ever used on my skin. I use it exactly like Dan has prescribed. But it is definitely not a cure-all. I would say I am perhaps 35 to 40% more clear than I used to be. (Something is better than nothing!) So thank you Dan. Recommended: Yes Usage: Reviewer has used this item for a few months. Pros: Worked well for the first few months. Cons: After initial period, acne came back. And it's hard to pay for a couple bottles + shipping every couple months when you're in college... Also, what happens over the long term when your skin has been absorbing this chemical into your body? Bottom Line: I've been using this product for about 4 years. It's been great for the most part, but I still have a lot of acne AND my skin is very oily. I went to a different acne website and found that topical creams can be way detrimental to your system. And what's more; they just treat the result of not taking care of your body. You have to figure out what toxins your skin is trying to get rid of. Food CAN DEFINITELY affect your acne, especially when you're eating lots of refined foods, sugar and not enough good fats. Many of us are veterans of acne. Topical creams might have long term effects we don't know about. Try going natural for awhile and see how you feel inside AND out. (go to the acne is dead website!) Pros: cleared up my skin 90% in 4 days. it is INCREDIBLE. worth every penny plus more. Cons: i wish i would had found this sooner. it dries up your face and neck like crazy, however, when you have clear skin WHO CARES?! just moisturize like crazy. love love love you dan. Bottom Line: I was so skeptical at this point in my life, I have exhausted every single product on the market along with prescription (except accutane which is next on the list), and I am honestly in AWE about this product, this regime...
