Pros: good price (college student) doesn't smell bad. Cons: none. a little drying, but that's what BP is suppose to do! Bottom Line: i have mixed-dry-oily mild acne. This BP works better than the proactive repairing lotion (which i used for 6 years!). i decided to switch to this product because i felt that i deserved more consistent results than what proactiv was giving me. I recommend this to anyone who was once religous with proactiv, but is ready for a change. It's worth a shot, it seems to be working for me! Pros: Eliminates acne - fast Goes on smooth - does not clump under my makeup Dries quickly and dries clear - skin felt soft to my surprise Cons: so far - even though I was careful to avoid the eyes it somehow crept near that area and it cause the skin under my eyes to puff up a little , very slight itching (so far) and today ever so slightly red Cant get in UK! Bottom Line: Have used this for a week - am very impressed so far. Skin is very close to 100% clear in just a few days. I have mild but consistent acne. I am hoping I do not experience any "initial breakout" Am worried also about my skin becoming dependant on it. The best bp I have ever used - very convenient and easy to wear in daytime too. Pros: Not too expensive Cons: Not for everyone Bottom Line: BP is hailed by some as a great method to combatting acne but for me, not so much. It's awesome that it works for some but I think people hopping aboard the bandwagon for the regimen need to keep in mind that everyone's skin is different. For that same reason, the regimen and BP will not work the same for everyone either. I unfortunately did not consider that when I began using it. I in fact, needed professional help for my acne, but because of my stubborn thinking I thought I could clear my face on my own. Instead it worsened over the month and a half that I used the BP. Pros: Amazing! Works so well, seen a massive improvement after only a few days. Also leaves my skin nice and dry, my skin looks perfect when it is dry and not covered in oil all day :) Cons: Only con I can think of is that there isn't a U.K stockist, so it takes forever to arrive and also costs quite a lot, but it is so worth it! Also seeing such a massive imporvement withing a week (Swithed from 5% to this) Bottom Line: Amazing, the best BP treatment I've ever used, I can't believe I didn't come across this sooner. Pros: Works amazingly well. Goes on clear, which is a step up from the neutrogena 2.5 BP. Cons: Contrary to what is stated in the products description it does clump up under make-up, but in the scheme of things I dont care. My skin is fantastic thanks to this stuff and the neutrogena BP. Bottom Line: Use it! It is cost effective, goes on nicely and it has improved my skin 100%. I feel as though the neutrogena 2.5 BP might work a little better for my skin so I rotate which BP I use just because it has been working for me and using this BP keeps the cost down. However, I must prefer the consistancy and feel of this product. It soaks in better and it goes on clear so I don't have to wander around the house at night looking like a ghost. Pros: none really Cons: pricing (including shipping), delivery, and crying Bottom Line: Okay so i have been using neutrogena's 2.5 BP CREAM every since i started the regimen and it has worked perfectly. However it is very VERY expensive so i was looking for another option. I have read many RAVES about Dan's BP GEL, i checked it out, the pricing was great compared to neutrogena's, so i ordered it. It came out to about $16(plus shipping) for a 2oz, i thought that was kind of expensive but if u calculate neutrogena's .75oz for like $7.00 you save your self a couple of cents. The delivery took FOREVER!!! to arrive, but when it came i was HYPE. I tried it for 1 whole week morning and night, and MY FACE HAS BEEN SO DRY AND RED ITS UNBELIEVEABLE!! OMG.. my eye lids, under my eyes, and my upper lip feels and looks sooo scaley its DISGUSTING.. Maybe it works for alot of ppl but NOT FOR ME AT ALL!! so i guess imma have to spend those extra bucks for neutrogena's BP Cream because its the only thing that keeps me clear and doesn't dry my face so bad.. Pros: Keeps skin clear Cons: Dries horribly Bottom Line: This is a great product - especially for the price. I had stopped all parts of Proactiv except the BP lotion, and that was working wonders for me. But at $20+ for 4 oz, it was just too expensive. This is way more economical, so I'll stick to it. My only issue is the drying. Proactiv's form never dried me out, but THIS...ugh. I understand that it has drying properties, but this has dried out my eyelids and upper lip - where I don't even apply it!! So I've cut down to using it just at night and it's doing better. But I've noticed more pimples. So I guess I'll have to work my way back up to 2x per day. Just thought I'd put this out there. People are raving about it, and it is a good product, but it's not a perfect fix for every person. Nothing has ever dried me out like this before, and this is with regular, heavy moisturization as I always have. I think it's worth a try, though! Bottom Line: i really can't say anything cuz it realli dont work. i dont bleive in the "try it for 2 months" crap when it was said that it's suppsoed to work fast and from counting on others' accounts that it works fast. well for me i just did not work at all.
