This works good...but don't forget to follow directions!! For some of those who are experiencing stinging...you must wait a few minutes after you wash to put the BP gel on. Let your pores close up a bit, or you will be sorry..it will sting and dry you out.

Stuff works great took about 14 days to arrive but well worth the wait. I have been using bp for 2 years on and off becuase my skin always gets irritated with crappy bp. But surprisingly with dans bp I have very little irritation afterwards even if there is if I wash then lounge around for few hours before I head out, irritation becomes very faint and hardly noticable. Cheap as bourse too 13$ CAD compared to expensive, crappy and harsh On the spot.

ive had problem with mild-mod acne for years and have tried proactiv for 4 yrs and worked wonders and made me completely clear! until August of last year in which i couldnt believe would stop working and back to my old self-breakouts after breakouts and felt even depressed than i was before using proactiv...i was so desperate and found myself crying almost everyday seeing myself in the mirror. found this site and ofcourse skeptical at first, esp. trying this product, wondering if itll ever work since its BP-based like proactiv. i gave it a shot and im on my 3-week of using it now...and i can totally see im on my way to clear skin again...i just hope that it wont stop working for me like proactiv did. thanks DAN =)

In response to Max's (from CA) comment . . . yes, seeing a dermatologist should be done at some point, but there currently is a problem with dermatologists not focusing on acne treatments as much anymore because there is much more money to be made in botox/anti-aging treatments. Also, health insurance is an issue for many of us and the doctors like to prescribe expensive skin medications they only hope will work. And in all my experiences with dermatologists, never once did they help me form some kind of regimen, and they always acted surprised when the treatment didn't work. The last one I saw regularly always just tried to boost my self-esteem by telling me I was crazy when I promise, my skin was very bad. All those frustrating years and then I find something as cheap and simple as this gel and regimen, and now I am looking better than ever.

I've been using this stuff for about a year and have been meaning to rate it. This really is the real deal. The only time a break out now is when I slack off and don't use it as much as I should. It does take a few weeks for your skin to get used to it though. Just have faith and keep using it!

I used Dan's BP Gel and it was awesome! I had never had skin problems until I was 40, tried everything on the market, spent hundreds of dollars only to make it worse, or burn my skin! Had nothing to lose so I tried Dan's BP Gel and found relief! No burning my skin! Read and follow his instructions, then make adjustments according to your skin, get to know how and when you need more or less and you can't lose! Thanks Dan,for a product that works!!

Fantastic stuff, this gel is. I bought a couple of tubes of it on a whim in December, feeling fed up with my crappy skin that seemed to have a mind of its own. Dan's BP gel turned out to be absolutely the best impulse buy I have made in my whole life. I used the gel as recommended, starting out slowly and then increasing the amount I used to a full "finger" twice a day after a few weeks. I definitely experienced some very mild ignorable burning after the first couple of days, but that went away after a few weeks. My skin starting peeling and flaking a lot, but I dealt with that with gentle toothbrush exfoliation (Dan doesn't recommend this but I like it) and lots of moisturizer. I'd definitely recommend that people who try Dan's regimen get a good lotion or cream for around your eyes, since even if you are careful to keep the BP gel away from there, it will still dry them out. After the first month of using Dan's gel, I had less active acne and wasn't getting new pimples as often. After two months I completely stopped getting new pimples altogether and all my old acne had healed up. Now I've been using Dan's BP for three months and I couldn't be happier with it. My skin, which hadn't responded to any over-the-counter washes, lotions, and kits (including the infamous Proactiv so many desperate people have tried), is now completely clear aside from small old red marks and scars from when my skin was much worse. I don't have any problems with dryness or flaking anymore, either. Dan's BP is great because it's so much cheaper than other BP products per oz. Even though I go through a tube about every 3-4 weeks now, I think $8.50/tube plus shipping is worth it for the results I've gotten. I paid $41.75 for an order of four tubes and domestic shipping, so considering that this will last me a minimum of 12 weeks (probably more like 14), that basically means I'm paying about 50 cents per day for the BP I use. I use cheap store-brand facewashes and lotions with the BP, so all in all, I believe I'm only paying around 75 cents each day for clear skin. I've had skin problems for 7-8 years now, and this is the first time since then that I've felt pretty happy with how my skin looked. If you're like me, fed up with other over-the-counter products and still dealing with stubborn mild/moderate acne, you might well benefit from making an impulse purchase of Dan's BP gel the way I did.

If you are desperate for anything that will cure you of your acne, be forewarned! This stuff does not work for everybody. But more important than that, if it doesn't work for you (which is much more likely to be the case, despite what most of these reviews say), not only will your acne not improve, it will make things much worse. The detrimental effects will last for several months after you finally realize your mistake. If your skin becomes red and irritated within the first few days of treatment, and the redness or irritation doesn't subside in a week, there's a reason for that. You skin is trying to tell something, "Stop putting this crap on your face!" SEE A DERMATOLOGIST! There's a reason they're doctors: They know a hell of a lot more about how to improve your skin than you do! They can prescribe the medications that really work, and I guarantee it won't be some worthless over-the-counter Benzoyl Peroxide. I know a lot of you reading these reviews are desperate for treatment, really desperate. Guys like Dan may put out the appearance of being selflessly devoted to helping you, but the fact is, he's in the business of making money just like everyone else, and he is taking advantage of your vulnerability. SEE A DERMATOLOGIST!
